He laughed and corrected the way I pronounced it & began to lecture me on what Missouri requires. I told him he really had no idea what he was talking about since he honestly wasn't answering my question and I told him it was unprofessional to laugh at a customer. I wished him a good day and I hung up. Then I immediately received 3 phone calls from a different number (reverse lookup shows me the phone # is owned by Dusty, Frances and Patricia Hancock). On the third call, the man I spoke to initially, left a message and said "I'm sorry if you think I was laughing at you...I was just trying to help...etc." Getting those 3 calls was creepy, unprofessional and disturbing. The original phone call was uncomfortable and unprofessional. He doesn't seem to understand how to take constructive criticism from an honest and kind source so all the red flags are here. (Eddie's Auto and the new orange and black Auto Worx shop across the street from Eddies are both fantastic with customers and they are very good at what they do if you do want a nice experience.)

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY ARE NOT PLEASANT PEOPLE TO WORK WITH!!!!!

A half hour later I arrived to wait for the car and when I walked in the gal said "what are you doing here, the car is not finished' I said I was just there to wait for it to be finished. The mechanic came in and said the fix would not last more than a week because I caused him to not let the epoxy dry long enough. I did wait 3 days after that before using the door to let it dry but still just as he said it didn't last more than 3 days despite letting it dry 3 days first The very bad part is when I left the shop my car died twice in 4 blocks home and acted like it had something put in the gas tank. A week later the car is still dying constantly. It was running great when I took it in. the problem with the dying was immediately after leaving their auto shop. It has never died before and ran great. I had an urgent reason for needing my car after it being in the shop 5 hours. I still don't understand their hostility to me nor why the fix didn't work nor why my car now dies constantly. never had such a horrible experience in any other auto shop through many decades of having car repairs. I am out the money, door panel is still a problem and now my car needs to have another auto shop repair for the very sudden problem that developed while in their shop.
