I tried my best to capture every color in nature. However there were only a few blooming trees when we went. I thought maybe if we came at a different time of the year, we might see more blooms. I'm not sure. To be honest, it was a little underwhelming, and one of my friends expressed their disappointment. It looks larger online, and we were restricted from seeing all of the plants and trees, due to the fenced-in area. However, I enjoyed the short walk in nature, and tried to capture as many beautiful photos as I could.

There aren't many cars on the roads between 10am-12noon, so it's a breeze riding a bike around and resting for a hydration stop here. Tiny public parking lot onsite off Milpitas Blvd. Hidden Lake neighborhood have peaceful homes and nice walking paths to get a glimpse of the small lake sometimes filled with ducks. You can easily walk up and down stairways or bike around the neighborhood area near the homes. Yes, there are picnic tables and families do stop to enjoy small gatherings. Hidden Lake Park is not far from retailers/restaurants/grocery stores/fast foods/etc. Convenient. Not many visitors on weekdays. It's always clean when I stop by seasonally for a morning biking routine. The clouds look great outside today, so it wasn't too hot under the sunshine. Overall, good place to chill before continuing onto Milpitas Blvd. where there's bike friendly streets now. Easy to follow the paths and navigate around town.

Due to being part of a community, there are a ton of guest parking (especially near the gates to this park) BUT if you keep driving, the parking lot for this "park" is on the outside (you turn in with the sign "HIDDEN PARK LAKE" in green lettering/tanish brown background and there are a few spots for you to pick from). Two stairways up to other flat cement ground trails. Very quarry lake vibes but not much water. Lake itself is a smaller circular flat cement ground leveled trail. Regarding up the stairs: One way does end up at another park whereas the other way just ends up in another neighborhood/main road. Lack of shade. Lots of ducks. There's few places to sit. Few trash bins. No visible toilets.

This is a medium sized park in the area, and the space can be used for many different thing. First,…read moreif you are driving or walking by, you'll notice that trees ring the park. This is really nice because it provides shaded areas to hangout in without obstructing the open are. In this tree lined area there is a pick nick table area that is easily accessible from the street, and there has to be almost 10 tables. So, plenty to go around. There are also 2 BBQ pits on opposite sides of the table area. The playground is also within or by the shaded ring area. So, parents bring your kids and let them play while you chill in the shade. There is also a basketball court, and a beach volleyball court. I think you have to get a hold of the Parks and Recreation division of the City of Modesto because there is a lock on the gate for the volleyball court. One of the best parts of this park is the very large open space that they have. I have driven by this park on the weekend and have seen multiple kids soccer games going on at the same time. Also, ultimate frizz bee and football are excellent uses of this open space. I was there this morning and a guy was chucking a ball for his dog. This space is large enough for a multitude of different activities to go on at the same time. There are also bus stops that run along this park, so if you want to use public transport to get here, that is an option. I give this park 5 stars because a park is what you make of it, and there is a lot of potential here. So, come here and have a good time and make use of this park.

There's no exit from 152 or I-5 to get to the reservoir , you'd have to drive to Volta Rd , then on to Canyon Rd to get to the boat launching area. A little winding but not too bad. A beautiful lake full of wildlife , while we were riding on a tour boat we saw a couple of ospreys , deer, koots, herriers , red-tails ( hawks). While we hiked our 9 -mile trail , we saw tons of cows, footprints of raccoons and deer, coyote scats . Bobcats and mountain lions been spotted here also. We learned history of Yokuts Indians , saw a could of acorn grinding holes on a rock, learned about the native plants such as wild cucumbers, Willow , dark blue elderberry trees and how the Yokuts Indians used to use them for medicinal purposes. We were welcomed by the nice cool breeze and the warm sun while we hiked but it was freezing cold while sitting in a boat. Luckily , we were prepared and had our down jackets , scarves and gloves. The tour is guided by two extremely knowledgeable and friendly park rangers. Richard has 14 year of experience in this area and very knowledgeable about the Yokuts Indian and the history of California. Nathan is a very skilled boat operator and friendly, skilled outdoor ranger. They made this experience much more memorable and fun. We hike an extra mile and a half to see the abandoned barn and houses by Basque immigrants. Old abandoned barns were pictureristique . It was fun watching the cows grazing up close and walk away as we approached them. Two of the ospreys we saw were so beautiful and majestic. They were perched proudly on the tree branches. Some area of the trail are very steep , narrow and slippery. We had to do some creek and river crossings. I wouldn't recommend it for small children but they do offer school trips there. Overall, a great outdoor experience of hiking , learning and a boat riding. $20 per person for the tour and you have to register through California State Park website. Tours only offered on the weekends during end of February to April.

Had a great time flying my Pittbull fully ballasted the first day in 15 + mph winds till sunset. Next day the lift wasn't so good, but I had a great time flying other planes. I told my other RC Glider buddies and they are stoked to make a trip up. Talking with Jorge and knowing this great park is so welcoming to RC Glider and RC planes, I will sure plan another trip out here in 2022.

Their process is very inefficient. The policemen in this city is useless very much. They are victim blamers due to the fact that they don't want to do anything they just want their stomach failed with food and parade as if they are doing something but they are actually not doing anything. It's a waste of money for the taxpayers to have these people in place. They need to be replaced with people who can really do a good service for the city. The city of Patterson when they disconnect services, they will send it through your mail instead of putting it into your door. If you are a person who is very busy traveling to San Francisco to work you don't necessarily go through your emails on a daily basis so having a warning on your mail is not a very efficient way of giving warning for your bills. They will hang a warning on your door only after they discontinue the service or water service. They need to do a better job in giving warnings to the bills that wasn't paid before disconnection. Instead of just disconnecting your water supply. The policemen need to do a better job in solving crimes in this city as well. When they are being called, it takes forever for them to respond. They should be in another job because they can't do a policeman job properly.
