As the other reviews said, final payment was due the day before the event. Brian showed up and was very friendly and my family and friend welcomed him into my mother's home where we were getting ready for the ceremony. He even came to me during the reception to say it was one of the best weddings he has attended. We waited the 6 weeks to get our photos and all that was promised in the package before calling. Initially Brian said he needed more time, that he had 20 photos left to edit. Since it has been excuses of injury/surgery, hospital visits and eventual non-response to calls; my husband and I got voicemail to leave messages. We've sent emails and occasionally got responses from some representative/ editing consultant, and told 30+ photos still needed editing. To this day, NO PHOTOS! At this point it feels like we paid for a wedding crasher. Clearly a scammer. I do not recommend Final Touch Photograpy/Brian M. Sturtevant. Avoid at all costs! We will be taking action.

We are extremely disappointed with the business practice of Mr. Adams. Our relationship began over…read morelunch with my fiance, father, Brian and I. I was excited because Brian went to college with my fiance & myself, and I felt it was a great opportunity to support a fellow alum by working with him. We bought him lunch, we shook hands. Immediately after shooting what was offered as a free engagement session, he asked us to pay a deposit of $2,700 to secure him as a wedding photographer. We had not yet seen the contract, and he neglected to tell us that this $2700 was non-refundable. After weeks of not seeing the engagement pictures and hoping to use one for our Save The Dates, he indicated that our engagement pictures would be posted after we signed a contract. The contract stated that the $2700 was non-refundable, but we had already paid it. We signed it to get the engagement photos, because Brian would not provide the engagement photos unless we signed it. We got the photos. The photos were terrible. Over a couple months of suggesting that the style was not to our liking, he kept insisting that he could take new photos or edit the existing photos, but certainly he would take our wedding photos. After a couple months of getting this conversation started, the photos were "edited" by making color photos black & white and vice versa. We were upset with the product and now we were upset with the service. Beginning in April 2012 we indicated in writing that we did not want Brian Adams taking our wedding photos. He kept insisting for months that he would take our photos. However, we could not trust him any longer. The fact that we didn't like his product nor appreciate the lack of service was pushed aside, and I kindly offered him to please keep $500 to compensate him for time on the "free" engagement photos and editing, and in this way we could part ways respectfully and amicably. Instead, he has been insisting that because we signed the contract THAT WAS NOT VIEWABLE UNTIL AFTER I PAID HIM, he has every right to keep my $2700. Please be warned.

I told him I was reserved and may need some help. He didn't hesitate and he jumped into action, handing me glasses, boas and signs.
