Came in looking for cabinets and stuff. After getting oriented to this particular variation of the…read moreMaynard's floor plan I made my way over to kitchens. Found the pull-outs and assorted storage accessories I thought I'd want and after a little poking around I figured, correctly, that the unfinished cabinets were on the mezzanine. There was a good selection of drawer or door face cabinets from 12" up but they weren't quite what I was looking for. Went downstairs and looked through cabinet hardware for a bit and after finding all the necessary pieces decided I'd be better off finding a good set of plans and making my own custom cabinets. I like Maynard's, it's more hardware than home improvement and you need to have an idea of what you're about to get up to and how to get it done. After that it's all ducks and gravy :-)

Very disappointed and will not be buying anymore appliances through the Mernards in Chillicothe!!

Nothing will ever compare to what Jim's Pay & Save was, but this is a decent stand in. Shawn was so helpful. I came in looking for a sheet of brass for a project present for my fiance, which they didn't have, but after I told him what I was trying to do and showed him pictures, he recommended a different sheet of metal that should would work just as well. Long story short, I bought more than I needed, but that's my own fault (and an ongoing trend for me in hardware stores). I had everything I needed to make a beautiful sheet metal rose that my fiance absolutely loves. This Ace may not have everything you've ever wanted in a hardware store, but they do a pretty good job of having most of what you'd need, in a location that was in desperate need of a hardware store.
