It also seems the place to watch live sports over a drink and a burger with tv screens on each corner of the restaurant yet it is still very family friendly and service has always been impeccable. In my honest opinion I do believe they serve some of the best American dishes around and can even compete with some of London's favourite diners. Wild wings (cajun) x6 Incredibly moreish and can see myself finishing a higher quantity bucket load. The wing sizes were quite average but very succulent and meaty inside. The cajun spices gave it a nice sweet paprika garlicky flavour and latched on well on the crispy skins of the wing showing that they were well fried, Sloppy Joes Ticked all the boxes for a fantastic burger. First that lovely pillow soft brioche bun, slightly charred so it came warm. Then came the rich tender minced beef fried with onions and peppers in there to give it some texture and boost of flavour. The sauce it came with was generous, with lovely rich sweet and and savoury notes keeping everything moist and juicy throughout. Finished off nicely with a fine slice of cheese, melted perfectly to intensify the umami flavours. Full rack ribs A delicious slab of ribs, keeping its meaty texture and flavours which suggest it was slow cooked the full length of time to tenderise and soften the meat. There was no pre cooking the ribs beforehand here. This allowed the rich BBQ coca cola sauce to penetrate through to the bone whilst reducing in liquid to create a rich and sticky coating around the ribs keeping everythign moist and juicy. A nice light creamy coleslaw on the side to cool things off. Curly fries These were perfectly fried. It had that moreish fluffy inside and crispy outside that was coated in the sweet mild spices which you find collapsing on itself as you chew, sending the rush of flavour through each mouthful. I say mouthful as who just pops one in their mouth per bite, not if they are this good. Chilli fries Not the spicy chilli as I imagined but chilli consisting of a wonderful well flavoured mix of red kidney beans, onions and red peppers in a lovely thick tomato slurry that helped bind the sauce and flavours on each and every chip. Drizzled with sour cream to add a lovely creamy consistency. Very wholesome dish. Sloppy suits every occassion whether it's your quick lunch or a celebration feast. Food has always been fantastic and paired with that is it's lovely bright and spacious atmosphere. Those who can eat a lot like me should definitely go for one of their food challenges. try their Sloppy Joes challenge and knock me down the top of the chart if you can.

I feel that the McDonalds menu has improved recently and it's not quite as junky as it used to be. I think it's good that they are becoming slightly more health conscious, and their menu choices seem to be a lot wider now than they were a few years ago. I have always been a fan of McDonalds thick-shakes, and they are the reason I tend to choose McDonalds over Burger King. Their happy meals are great & a huge hit with my boys. They also give out free balloons! One negative I have found with this branch is that the toilets REALLY smelled bad last time I was in there.

We ordered the BBQ platter, and after being served we realised it was meant to be a sharing platter for 4 and not for 2...it was BIG. The platter comprised of chicken tender (my all time fav, missed the blue cheese dip they used to serve with it), succulent hand cut ribs (my sister loved them), American loaded bacon & cheese and cheese & chives skins, BBQ chicken wings (it was really good) and finally tortilla chips topped with salsa and homemade chilli cheese sauce. We struggled finishing half of the platter but the Millionaires waffle looked so good that we choose to order one and share it. It was like cherry on top of the icing. Warm fresh waffles with salted caramel & chocolate sauce and ice-cream topped with honeycomb balls. The Mcdonalds which is just up the road from this BK has recently been refurbished and provides a much more pleasant dining experience, and I would like to see BK do the same. BK cater reasonably well for children, with a children's menu, high chairs and even a little mister-men ride in the corner of the restaurant. They also have baby changing facilities. I have found the service in this particular Burger King to be quite fast, even at very busy times and peak periods. I like the fact that this BK has a drive through, and they welcome you to customise your food.
