I had to go to the Spine Institute in Burlington. He could have paralyzed me from the neck down or even killed me. I was lucky all he did was sprain my neck. Dr. Chad Volk does manual adjustments and uses his entire body weight to force your bones into whatever position. I wanted to continue my care for my back. I sought out Dr. Molly as I heard she has an instrument called the Activator. She doesn't put you in a pretzel shape or whatever and use brute force to snap you back into place. The Activator uses speed instead of force. Dr. Molly was very caring and considerate of my hesitation after my horrible experience with Chad Volk. She has absolutely done wonders for me. She is not like other doctors. She actually cares about her patients. She even gives out her home phone number just in case you need her, and believe you me, she will come in on off hours, weekends or she even has come in while she is on vacation! Now what doctor does that!!! My husband even sees Dr. Molly. He was in a lot of pain and she even saw him one Sunday night. She didn't make him stay in pain until the office opened. She came into the office that Sunday night. We both have been her patient for some time and will definitely continue to be. Dr. Molly definitely knows what she is doing and she is extremely good at what she does. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!! I completely trust Dr. Molly and the care that she gives. Ashley who guided me to the patient exam room and did my triage/pre-assessment was very kind and patient, and also had some pretty stylish boots. For a medical office, I must say they were a stylish bunch and I let them know it, but I did go on their Casual Friday as they told me it was. The office was also very clean, smelled nice, and even was decorated for Christmas. It seems that they are quite booked because the physicals they had available to book were few which is a good sign. It's just a little bit challenging if you are a new patient (which I was/am). Overall, I just wished to say that the staff was very nice. Dr. Sarah (who is an ARNP, but i still call nurse practitioners and PA's doctors anyways lol) was pleasant and went through my health questionnaire and also addressed my cold/swollen lymph nodes concern. I also like that there is a pharmacy located behind the office as well. A nice added touch was the Christmas tree in the corner that had knit mittens on it that you could either take a pair from or donate a pair to. There is also a bulletin board that communicates things such as vaccine schedules, therapy help, and other things like a wellness drumming session which i did not know existed. I had to schedule my physical exam a few months out, but I appreciated the promptness of my appt. and the candor in which the staff demonstrated towards me. My son is very knowledgeable about his diseases, and he was very impressed with Dr Fenton's plan. And ready to drive from Boston to Vermont, no matter how uncomfortable. I've never seen him so excited, and so believing that a doctor finally, this doctor, understood his issues. Fenton sends a plan, we call to make the in-person procedure appointments. The secretary stumbles around and says "Dr Fenton has decided he doesn't want to move forward with your son." WHAT?? My son is thrilled with this doctor. Excited to start treatments. Why?? "He just doesn't think he can help him now." We FINALLY get Fenton on the phone again, after begging. He agrees with my son that his negative decision was hasty, and he WILL move forward. We call to set the appointment a few days later. "Dr Fenton has chose to not move forward...again." WHAT? Why would he do that to that to someone suffering. To get their hope up? "The doctor really wears his heart on his sleeve." No...THAT IS JUST THE OPPOSITE! He has NO FEELINGS or REGARDS for my son's mental state, and BELIEF in him! His office says we should consult with his colleague in CT...who was far less knowledgeable, caring, and actually, rude. Since then, my son has gotten worse and in more pain as the weeks and months progressed. We hope Fenton can live with himself. And his "heart on his sleeve."

We had a negative experience with a different doula/photographer at our first birth so I wanted to be extremely meticulous with our doula choice the second time around. I could tell from our first interview that Heather was exactly what we were looking for. She put both me and my husband at ease with her calm presence and provided unbiased feedback when discussing birth wishes. We moved to Vermont in the middle of my pregnancy and Heather was an incredible resource for prenatal support and provider recommendations in the area. She went above and beyond in providing emotional support and evidence based advice as my due date approached (dragging into week 41) and was always reliable with communication. Her birth support was everything we'd hoped for and far more. She was a calming presence and brought levity to the room. She was an excellent guide for my husband to help physically and emotionally support me. When things weren't quite going to plan she helped communicate options and made sure I consented to every step of the birth process. She had a gift for being a respectful yet firm advocate for our wishes with our birth team. I can't even list all the small touches she provided: braiding and clipping loose hair out of my face, a foot massage to take my mind off contractions, snack runs, extra blankets, it was incredible. She truly seemed to anticipate needs like she was reading my mind, it was MAGIC. Heather's photography speaks for itself. Looking back at my photos feels like stepping into that night. She captures the crazy moments that can only happen in the delivery room (being hand fed a pb&J while holding my brand new baby and getting stitched up by the midwives) I'm so grateful she captured moments I never would have been able to witness while in the thick of labor and delivery. Birth photography is an investment but her results are truly priceless. I cannot recommend Heather's services enough, she is everything you could want in a doula and so much more. On top of being an incredible doula and photographer she is also an incredible, kind, and hilarious person who you will enjoy spending hours with during your birth process. I spent thousands at this hospital and can't find anyone to speak w/ about a $300 invoice??? Further more, the hospotal, sent the single bill to collections for a charge in dispute. I encourage you to consider another service provider - This hospital has an inept financial services team who is quick to ruin your good name w/ out justification.
