The weather was sketchy so I didn't think it would be too crowded but that was a bad call. The parking spaces are WAY too small! Larger SUV's taking two spaces & you can't blame them. I got to the store & made the exchange & got out of there PDQ!

Review for Charlotte Premium Outlets…read more After relocating to Charlotte from the San Francisco Bay Area, I've kept my same philosophy about shopping: retail prices are optional if you're willing to do a little homework. I'm always looking for quality and value without paying unnecessary markups, and this outlet center has been a very reliable place to find both. I needed professional clothing, shoes, and luggage for work, so I made the drive out here--and I found everything I needed in one trip. One of my best purchases was a beautiful piece of luggage from Travelpro at a great price. Many of the stores also offer additional discounts if you sign up for their rewards programs, which can make the savings even better. Stores I frequent most: * Banana Republic * J.Crew * Ann Taylor * LOFT * Saks Off 5th * Old Navy (very large location with great basics) * Le Creuset -- always fun to browse, even if just window shopping If you have the time to look carefully and shop strategically, you can really find high-quality items here at excellent prices. My personal shopping strategy: * I avoid weekends whenever possible * I park near the Saks entrance, especially along the back row where it's easier to remember where you parked * I shop during off-hours for a calmer, more efficient experience Parking overall is plentiful, and the layout is easy to navigate once you learn your preferred entry point. Another thing I appreciate is the atmosphere. In my experience, the staff across stores have been knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. The overall vibe feels practical and approachable--people are there to shop, not to show off. There are also plenty of restaurants and fast-casual options nearby, so it can easily become a full outing. If you're planning a larger shopping trip, using store hold or will-call services can be a smart way to keep your purchases secure while you continue browsing. As someone who pays attention to value and cost of living, I've found shopping in North Carolina--and the Southeast in general--to be refreshingly affordable compared to the West Coast. That difference alone makes places like this especially worthwhile. Bottom line: Easy parking, strong value, and a wide selection of reliable brands. If you shop strategically and avoid peak times, this outlet center can be a very productive and enjoyable place to find quality items at fair prices.

I do wish Malls had Carts especially when you buy so much to carry around without going back to the car. The entrance we went in it was pretty far and it's located in the security office. You just leave your license to get one. I was so shocked at how many stores are closed. It's sad to see Malls are dying and stores can't survive during covid or a slow economy. The big Anchor stores that use to be there are now discount merchandise stores, two big ones and a Belk. Still some smaller old favorite stores like spencers and clair's still here. They have a play area for kids and a area set up for Santa even though I didn't see him. For being so close to Christmas I was surprised it wasn't busier. The food court now consists of maybe 5 or 6 places and only like 3 were open for business. Will definitely go back for the 2 big Discount Stores they had a lot of items marked down from Regular Prices. When returning the Wheelchair there is a sign on the door with the phone number to call . The security guy was friendly and even walked us to the only door that was unlocked that they don't lock when the mall closes. He even allowed us to leave the store with a cart (they are not supposed to leave the store.) Since it was full of bags!!! I don't know how you would carry everything otherwise. It's a big Mall and we will be back!

Loved the escape room, just wish I didn't have to endure breathing in mold to play. What are the plans to resolve that issue because I can see that hurting the businesses there.

Given the proximity to our home, we've been visiting here quite a few times. Aside from loving the easy location, I must mention that the best part of this strip is the lake and sitting areas located behind Spice Asian Kitchen, Napa and Taco Molino. The strip is impressive in size with a variety of restaurants...but honestly, it's not the most beautiful. All very brown, almost industrial...I'd say it's one of the most masculine looking shopping strips. The thing I don't like is how busy it is! By 5:45 pm, parking lots are packed...and the place is just a tad too busting at times...often with many kids. However, it has this near picturesque lake scene (complete with ducks, even a fake waterfall!) in the back that we really enjoy! If only there weren't office buildings behind that lake. :\ We usually get ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery after dining somewhere in this super-busy complex (So many restaurants here!), walk out to the lake, sit on one of their many comfy loungers and enjoy our dessert with a view. Makes for a relaxing time after any meal at this strip!

Situated at the northwest corner of the intersection of South Tryon Street and Steele Creek Road, it's anchored by a well-appointed Publix Super Market that sets the tone for the entire plaza. Directly across the street lies the much larger RiverGate Shopping Center, but this smaller complex holds its own with a curated mix of food, retail, and essential services. At one end, Five Guys offers its signature burgers and fries, joined by Marco's Pizza for a local slice, and Five Below for budget-friendly finds. You'll also find Brazilian Wax for personal care, Masa Sushi for fresh rolls and bento boxes, and Greco Fresh Grille serving up Mediterranean fare. The center includes a tanning salon, a nail salon, a chiropractic office, and a tax preparation center making it easy to tackle errands and self-care in one stop. Outbuildings house a Walgreens pharmacy and a Wells Fargo branch, rounding out the essentials with health and banking services. Access is smooth, with a traffic light entrance from South Tryon and an easy exit onto Steele Creek Road heading north. The parking lot is spacious and well-lit, with plenty of security lights that make evening visits feel safe and welcoming. Whether you're grabbing dinner, running errands, or just browsing, this center continues to grow into a well-rounded community hub. [Review 1293 of 2025 - 4438 in North Carolina - 24845 overall]
