Frank's Fun Center is hands down the best arcade in Point Pleasant Beach. Prizes are constantly updated, prize pricing is reasonable, half-price hours are a steal, which is 3-5pm. The best part of the arcade that my granddaughter enjoyed was the claw games, that you play until you win. For any boy or girl around 6-7 years of age, would love that game... so they always come out with a stuff animal. They play until they win one. My granddaughter had a blast. The older kids like the games that give tickets for variety of gifts. They even have poker casino games to keep the adults occupied. Selling counterfeits is illegal. Unfortunately I was told I could not get a refund. These are fake Sonny Angel figures that the Frank's Fun Center gift shop sold to me near full price ($10 per item). Look at the terrible paint job, scuffed parts, messed up proportions, and misaligned sticker part. When I opened it, it was dirty, the bodies were thinner, and the heads popped right off. There is also no such thing as Marine series and Cat life series hippers, those figures only exist as regular standing figures according to the official Sonny Angel website. They may not have known that these were fake figures, but they could have done the right thing by refunding it to me. This is a warning to other shoppers to avoid buying these fakes!!! read more

I went to the gift shop under the same name with my girlfriend and they sold counterfeit Sonny Angels. The tape for the packaging made me somewhat suspicious, seeing that it was unevenly placed masking tape that held it together. But the figures themselves once opened had uneven paint jobs, warped proportions, and marks all about them. Its a shame that somebody should spend money on an advertised item and receive a fake version of it, so I hope this might serve as a warning to anyone that finds them still selling it. read more

The gift shop is real clean, one of the neatest I've seen on any boardwalk. And their prices are commensurate with any gift shop in the Shore area. The staff is made up mostly of high school kids considering this is a great summer job from Memorial Day through October. Management seems to be very particular on whom they hire. read more

We've been going to Frank's for years and loved it so much we always brought friends with us! We went on Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend around 11:30, and it was basically impossible to win anything in the claw machines based on how the tensions were set. We normally win a decent amount and see others walking around with prizes too, but on Saturday we spent about $70 and walked out with 2 small plastic pokemon characters. When I looked around it seems like people were only winning the play til you win machine. Sad, and we won't be back for a while. read more

TLDR: Really fun arcade at Point Pleasant. There are more than a few arcade options at Point Pleasant, but Frank's Fun Center is definitely a great option in case you're having a hard time deciding where to go. There's a great variety of games available and it makes for a fun experience while at Point Pleasant. While they don't have all of the newest arcade games here, they do have some of the newer Pac-Man, Walking Dead, and Jurassic Park arcade games that you'll see at the best arcade spots. There's also a huge Space Invaders spot in case you want a classic old school game to play. However, if you're looking for prices, there are plenty of games that provide tickets. I'm not sure if everyone was just lucky last time I went, but everyone seemed to be winning plenty of tickets at many of the games. In case you're looking for instant gratification, there are plenty of claw cranes and some of them are even labeled as "super easy" and "easy". I saw more than a handful of people leaving Frank's with multiple plush toys from the claw crane games. I think it's worth noting that credit cards are accepted here for game credits. After you pay, you'll get a game card that holds your credits. Alternatively, it seems like all of the games here directly accept cash as well. Overall, it's definitely a solid arcade spot and one worth visiting at Point Pleasant. read more

Nice people, however, the claw games are a disgraceful rip off. They should be fined. The claw picks something up perfect, raises up, then shakes until it drops in the same spot. Sad to see children broken hearted when they think they won something. How greedy can you get? read more

Went to Frank's Fun Center today. Overall nice and friendly staff as always!! However we noticed the games and claw machines have been tweaked, prizes are much more difficult to win. But over it was fun. We always win something every time enough they made it slightly harder. It's always to see the same faces and who's always helpful. read more

My favorite arcade at Point Pleasant. It's got lots of skeeball, basketball, and older games. It's less 'flashy' then several others here. It's not dark & full of lasers with loud electronic music. I wish the photo machine still developed film but what can ya do? read more

I have been going to Frank's since the early 90s. I now take my kids here. Frank's is the best spot on the boardwalk, everyone is friendly, they have great games, the place is clean and family friendly. We just had my son's birthday party here and we have received so many responses from the people that attended saying what a great time they had. This place is all class. read more

I love arcades but not this one. I brought my family and friends to the Jersey shore. My kids and their friends ended up playing the claw machine to win the Apple Watch. $2.00 per play. In the 5th play, my daughter had the box to win the prize, before raising up, the jaws opened and then lifted up instead of just raising. The service lady came over and gave us a free game. Of course we didn't win but we were ok because we were off to get ice cream. After leaving and eating ice cream, we went back to try again. Not thinking this was an ongoing scam. After another $10, my daughter's friend grabbed the box perfectly. Once again the jaws opened before lifting it up so the box fell out. I explained the situation to the manager and they said "no refunds" but we could have a free game. Both time the service lady and guy and then manager used the exact same line. "The game somehow malfunctions once in a while." This place is a complete rip off. $20 gone. That's not fun. read more

Used to be a nice spot, but the kids at the desk are lazy rude and pains in the ass! I got tickets and the kids are bullshitting with each other that we had to call for them. So they took sweet time and still talked to each other. Had some dense blonde kid who going to put a glass item in the plastic bag without wrapping it. And the figure said 3250 0. And they argue saying they didn't make the signs even though all the other arcades doesn't have spaces or decimals or some bullshit about not making the signs. They say oh the sign says to ignore the decimal. Oh the little sign with size 4 font under where the magnets are. One spot. No normal people use decimals and they ripped me off. As far as I am concerned you ignore anything after a decimal point. That's common math. You never put 1200.0. The boy was rude telling us sign is there. If you have an issue with your sticker machine you make signs in more than one spot which is by the way not near ANYTHING over 1200. So fix your signs and your help. The fact they don't say it's really more than you think is great too. They probably hated having to stop talking to help us thinking we see a tiny ass sign. Should've taken a picture of it far away be like here's the sign. The only guy that was nice was the nice man who put tickets in the machine when it ran out. Wish I knew his name. read more
