Every time I look I see a new piece of equipment and men at work. Yes some tees are bad they have to remove a few hundred trees but overall the condions are great. They just opened the new restaurant "Meadow 28". All new insides tables chairs flooring. All new restaurant equipment. With a new chef from a local country club. Very exciting to see all the new changes. Can't wait to come back.

I'm not too familiar with the Spring Lake area, but the golf club has a lovely location. Not sure if they have valet service as we usually park our own cars. Love the Christmas decorations throughout the lobby and club itself. There's a coat check by the lobby, though I always forget! Bar has nice views and decent selection of wines and beers. It's a good place to have a cocktail reception or small gathering. We were in a larger banquet room with many windows and a big Christmas tree. Food was served buffet style. My favorite was the pasta and the pumpkin pie dessert. Pretty tasty! Servers are nice and friendly too which I appreciate. The bathrooms are clean, fancy, and good for taking a selfie (; Not sure about costs, but I'm sure the staff can help you with membership or planning a special event.

Review of Golf Course Only:…read more I was lucky enough to be invited as a guest to play this private club this past week 1 day after a week of torrential rains. Arrive to a very organized bag drop area for guests as most private clubs are mostly members playing. Very helpful in welcoming us, and on the carts and off to the range we go. Range mats only today with max distance 190 yards. Carts are dated no GPS. With young college kid fore caddie assigned. Of we go to an absolutely magnificent golf course from layout to conditions, to maintained bunkers etc. Really top shelf as a private club of this nature should be. Only knock which could be from the weather greens looked much faster than they were though if you get them rolling properly this course would be unreal. Pace of play was ok as busy for a Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately the 1st year fore caddie with absolutely no experience was pretty much a waste of time but being a guest I certainly can't say anything negative. In short Course itself really top shelf - didn't even visit the inside facilities so I can't comment, and being a guest I'm not going to be overly critical of staff etc as I certainly have no right to voice my opinion of a private equity club. That will only leave the pine Links course which is the worst of the 3. So now you play the pines links first (19-27) and finish on 10-18. Looks like they have given up maintaining the course. Tee boxes were bad, greens, traps all sucked. I should have known getting a great weekday afternoon rate of $57 with cart this course used to be 90+ but was worth it. Haven't been here in years and was shocked how they have let it go, including the clubhouse-restaurant building which looks worn and dilapidated. My parents used to live in the adjacent community so we used to go there all the time and it was nice. They have let it go to shit. I won't be back at any price.

Golf course review. I was here for an event where we got to…read moreplay 36 holes. I enjoyed every minute of this experience. From the drive in, you see some incredible bunkering (especially a beautiful volcano bunker on the left), a fantastic clubhouse, and a beautifully laid out golf course. This place is pure. The clubhouse has a great vibe to it. There is a big outside patio out back with several dining areas. On the other side of the driveway is another house that holds a small eating area, a beautiful bar, and a great locker room. The next building over hosts the caddies and a modest but nicely stocked pro shop. The golf course itself is in my top ten that I have played. I just wish I could come back and explore it some more. As I said the bunkering really stands out. Many are outlined in tall fescue and are menacing obstacles on each hole. The fairways lean and meander wonderfully. For me, the greens truly stand out. Each one creates its own dramatic picture. I felt like any time I had a 30+ foot putt, I had a chance to get close if I hit something perfectly. However, I also had a chance to hit the wrong side of a hump and be 10+ feet away from the hole. They definitely had some fun but challenging hole locations for each round, and it tested everyone's abilities once they got to the green. This is a course I could play every day and not get tired of it. Someday soon I hope to meet a member and get a chance to relive the magic!
