After having my car broken into on Valentine's Day, by tearing through my convertible top. I had called around to a couple different upholstery shops and Frank was the quickest to get back to me! He was very kind and kept me in the loop through every process, and was able to have my car fixed and ready for me within the same week I got in contact with him. Much different than another upholstery place I had waited two weeks to hear back from about how they couldn't help me. Because my car is a Saturn the parts were off the market but Frank didn't let that stop him! Not only did Frank do a great job in replacing the seat cover on a used Kia Forte that I had on my lot, but he was a pretty cool dude to boot too. After visiting two other upholstery shops and even the local Kia dealership first, Frank's was pretty much my last resort. I ordered the seat cover from Kia and Frank was able to replace it within hours... unfortunately he couldn't just fix it because of the location of the airbags, however, the replacement was the overall best solution anyway because the other upholstery shops just wanted to "repair" the tear with a patch that was a totally different style than what was on the car from the factory. In the end, the driver seat looked perfect and my dealership had a car they could now sell... will definitely try Frank's again in the future! read more

Had a really good experience with Frank's Hot Rods Upholstery. I wanted leather seat covers for my daily driver which had worn fabric seats. My order was somewhat difficult because I wanted a two tone pattern, perforated leather, new foam for the drivers side and heating elements installed. All of this was accomplished with an accurate estimate and a realistic time schedule. Both Frank and Belen were very helpful and communicative throughout the process, a pleasure to work with. Went in on a Wednesday to get a quote for my defective 350Z convertible top. Needless to say Frank was great about working with me on a budget. I paid him a downpayment for the aftermarket top, which by the way comes with a 3 year warranty and the company that makes the top will also cover Frank's labor if anything were to happen to the top in that 3 year period. Awesome! Took my car in the next morning, he already had my top in and it was gorgeous!!!! He had my car ready the next afternoon! When I saw my car I literally almost cried it looked so amazing! I thought this place was a rip-off. I needed a simple glue repair on my Mustang door panel upholstery, but I was quoted for an expensive replacement instead. The owner told me it couldn't be glued and repaired. I looked around town for another auto upholstery shop, and there really isn't one that seemed to offer quality work. So Frank's is really the only game in town and he can get high prices for his work. My story has a happy ending though. The guy at my favorite auto repair shop suggested I get some heavy duty spray glue and repair it myself. He told me how to do it, and viola! It worked and still looks great 6 months later. I went to Frank's to have the upholstery of the driver's seat of my 2004 van replaced. They were extremely courteous gentlemen, and they paid attention to detail. When the wrong fabric arrived at their shop, they immediately caught the error and called to let us know. The correct fabric arrived the next day, and I had my van back by the end of the day.
