***For those considering Frantz*** I used them for Porter Ranch gas leak, and I regret the moment I went with this law firm. I went with them due to a family friend who had partnered up with them. He was getting a portion of the settlement for his referral. Granted, I will NEVER be using that family friend for anything in future nor will recommend him, he left me hanging just to deal with them as he had issues getting a hold of them. So can you believe that? The lawyer who brought me in to sign with Frantz, essentially giving them business was not having his calls returned. Just don't do it! I received my check this morning after I'm not sure how many calls after months of contacting. My other family friends and neighbors who went with other law firms got paid several months ago as I type this with no headaches at all. It was horrible from start to end...so disorganized, lack of communication lacking. I would provide my information only for them not have it next time I called. It was obscured! So if your debating to go with Frantz, I'll save you the heartache, just don't do it, folks. These reviews say it all and are forth telling on what you will have to deal with. Just chose another law firm. They are "determined and relentless" on not answering your calls or emails back and I felt like they really didn't care at all whether I got paid or not, maybe they have too many other cases open, but hire extra people if your planning to take big cases. I've been in law for over twenty years and fortunately have never experienced anything like the way this firm (mis)treats its clients. The reviews are telling and I wish they had been posted before we contracted with this firm in 2019. Four years later and we're still dealing with this firm's incompetence and, frankly, unethical and potentially illegal behavior. Putting aside, for the sake of brevity, their lack of communication, lack of focus on the facts of the case, their lack of status updates, their unprofessional interpersonal communication styles, their unethical referrals, and improper billing practices, we're still left with the inexcusable refusal to pay us from our settlement check that they've been holding onto for months for some inexplicable reason. Thankfully my spouse and I know what to do when licensed practitioners misbehave but I'm saddened to think lay persons would have to deal with the likes of these attorneys. Unless you want to dig your heels in and fight the good fight to hopefully remove these people who are a poor representation of the profession, my suggestion is to go elsewhere...anywhere else would almost certainly be a better use of your time and resources. If you do decide to work with them make sure you communicate everything in writing because you'll want that record later for the inevitable Bar complaint. read more

I had received a recommendation to their firm when I began the claimant process from the 2018 CampFire. I am on my third case manager because frankly, they are an absolute nightmare to deal with and will personally show satisfaction in extending your nightmare. I received a payment verification on March 17, 2023 and initially began emailing them daily with a call once a week beginning on March 20, 2023. As of May 8th, I have begun emailing them 3 times a day (same message, each time.. hoping for any reply, really). Reporting them to the CA BAR association and if you are a client of theirs, I recommend doing the same. I have never felt so angry with any so-called 'professional' organization in my life and they have not shown any sign of morality or due diligence on their part in mitigating anything, since they have ghosted and gaslit me from the very beginning. Their organization needs professional help in learning how to respond and handle the concerns of the victims they supposedly represent. read more

I'm an attorney and if I conducted my practice like these people I would be out of business. I am a member of the Porter Ranch group and it has been a disaster. When they were enticing people to sign with them it was roses and sunshine. After that time, however, it has been crickets. Once the money had been disbursed to them and I still was not paid, they blamed the court, Brown Grier, the State of California Health Dept. and Archer. Everyone but themselves. I caught them in several lies by reaching out to the health department myself, then to Brown Grier and finally, as a last resort, I called the clerk in Dept 12 of the courthouse where this matter was heard and spoke to her. The consensus, Frantz Law has not been dealing in good faith on this matter. I am horrified I have to give one star. I am even more horrified I had to pay them when it was me who has spent countless hours reaching out to everyone they have blamed for their mistakes and oversights only to find out they should have done better. I am filing a complaint with the State Bar and providing all of my dozens of emails to them and to all of the others mentioned above. Do not get fooled, very nice & responsive at the beginning, but they become MIA as soon as they have made their money off of you.! I hired them as my attorney for Porter Ranch SOCalGas case, one of the wells blow out and we had to relocate for over 5 months. The case has been a nightmare! The case became a mass tort and the group of law firms decided to settle without our blessings & agreeing to the settlement offer. This case has been going on for almost 8 years now. Of course the law firms made huge money, but not the plaintiffs who truly suffered and still suffering from health issues. As soon as they forced us to sign the settlement (they used very strong scare tactics that we will be dropped with no representation if we do not sign the agreement, they also made false promises and used a dangling carrots for exceptional funds which was never granted (so people who were not happy with the settlement offer would sign, so they could get their attorney's fees and move on), right after we signed so they could get their attorney's fees they disappeared on us ignoring ALL the calls, emails & basically became totally unresponsive. I had 5 phone call appointments with Regina which was cancelled minutes before the calls (5 consecutive appointments which was within almost 2 months). I was told EVERY-TIME that SHE IS TOO BUSY FOR MY CALL!! I feel that was so rude and unprofessional of the firm to treat a client this way. The other guy who takes the calls (he is not even an attorney) Gary Minor, basically told me we need to shut up and be thankful!! Really?? Thankful that they made $Millions and we got basically slap on a face with just about worth 6 months mortgage and so many illness and scary diagnosis?! I understand now why these attorneys give all attorneys bad names and are called ambulance chasers, because they just chase disasters to make false promises for their own very deep pockets.
