I wish I was here for a few more days to explore the rest of the menu (flaming halloumi drizzled in honey!). For today I had the bruschetta flatbread (cherry tomatoes, Parmesian, balsamic reduction) - delicious. The flatbread was outstanding. Followed by seafood paella, also delicious. All paired with their house Italian red, a slightly bold but classically dry Italian wine. It all fit perfectly. Only regret is... no room for dessert. The flatbread is definitely fit for two... I'm looking forward to coming back. It'll be a while, probably won't be in Kanata for at least a few months, but Via Marzo is top of my list when I'm back. And next time... dessert! I went with my mom, so she gave me some of her mussels, which were delicious. The waiter saw that I demolished the bread, so he gave me more. Did I say the bread was good yet cause it was GOOD. Dress is casual, at least for lunch, but don't dress like a road worker or you'll feel out of place. If you've never been here, it's a great place to try, and for a great first or hundreth date.
