And there is a communal microwave, oddly positioned next to the pool table for those who perhaps bring food which needs to be heated up? This place opened in 1961 and claims to be the oldest bar in Dunedin. This is interesting because just the other day I was hanging out at The Inn Lounge on the Dunedin Causeway and they're open date is 1960, a full year before Tumbleweeds. Bar Wars, anyone? Victoria is a very friendly bartender, and I would potentially consider revisiting this place simply because it's been around for a really long time. However, it is a cash-only business and I cannot freaking stand cash-only businesses.

There are a couple of TVs in one of the larger rooms - that coupled with $2 mimosas on Sundays makes this a solid spot for Sunday funday fans. Like the neighboring businesses, the Patio Lounge backs up to the Pinellas Trail, which although is not a new thing, provides a peaceful walk from the bar to the other bars (or the parking garage). I don't make it out to Dunedin very often these days but if I do, I would definitely return to TPL.

Always greeted with a friendly smile and hello with a prompt service of your drink of choice. These guys are so good that they can recall most every person's favorite drink! Now that is awesome. The place is always clean even when a bit of popcorn is dropped from customers, it is not long before it is cleaned up. The tables are cleaned regularly and the staff picks up empties all the time and ready to provide you with a refill. Don't forget to look for the "Dog-Pig" it is a thing, and you may end up with a free drink when you find it. The outside has tables ready for you on those great days and evenings you want to sit outside. Most every weekend, they have live entertainment outside (when the weather permits). Rosie's is truly a gem and a great place to go. Everyone loves Rosie's in Dunedin. I highly recommend this place. There are no such things as strangers, just friends that have not met yet!

There is art everywhere you look and it feels like every corner has something unique and interesting to check out. The mix of local artwork, live music, and community energy really makes it stand out. You can tell it is a place that supports artists and brings people together. The atmosphere is laid back, welcoming, and just fun to be in whether you are there for an event or just stopping by. Everything felt authentic and full of personality which is hard to find. It is one of those spots you can spend a while exploring and still notice new things each time you visit. Definitely a 5 star experience and a must visit if you are anywhere near Safety Harbor.
