Furthermore, the approach to learning drum charts relied entirely on rote imitation; the instructor would simply have my son copy his movements. He can now only play the specific songs he was told to copy from memory, rather than learning how to independently decipher drum sounds and learn songs on his own. I had hoped the program would focus on building true musical independence, not just mimic a teacher.

There are animals to visit and a small store with eggs, honey, produce, pasture-raised chicken, other local foods, fresh-cut flowers, and various books, clothing, and merchandise. For our event, they put up a huge tent, so we had breezy shaded dining. This was next to another covered structure, for a breezy shaded dance-floor. And there was a food-truck bar as well. In all, a clever use of their space for a fun comfortable event. We had access to their farm for self-tours, and i think there were guided tours and feedings, too, but we walked ourselves among and petted and brushed and fed the humped mini "zebu" steer, non-wooly Katahdin sheep, goats, mini horses, a mini donkey, mules, about six of rabbits of different kinds, and chickens. And beehives! We were there for a special event. The Gorman Heritage Farm is open to the public Mon-Sat for under $8 per person. Come see fun farm animals and products!

They have a small snack bar outside of the courts. There is also an area when you first enter the facility that is for personal training. Wall2Wall has three indoor soccer fields, two which are regulation size and one that is a lot smaller. I had several friends in high school who played soccer, a few of which even play Division I NCAA soccer now, and they all played at Wall2Wall during the winter. They have the best facilities around, and they offer great high school-level, adult, and youth leagues (11v11, 8v8, 7v7, 6v6) during the winter and summer, as well as the All Star Soccer Academy youth camps and the Sunday Coed league (2 girls + 3 guys + goalie) during the summer. The fields are in great shape, and the place really is wall to wall soccer as they have Wallbangers (like Fat Head posters) of top footballers Wayne Rooney, Thierry Henry, and Ronaldinho, among others throughout the complex. This weekend they will be holding the annual David Fulcher All Pro Youth Football Camp, while in August, Major League Lacrosse star Joe Walters will run a lacrosse camp. Wall2Wall is also a great place for a birthday party, and it is also the home of the Ignition premier sports-specific training program and the Tristate Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center.
