Have been dancing for the last few months and the atmosphere and people are just amazing. They make you genuinely want learn all of these great dances and have fun at the same time. They so strive to make you great at it, be personal classes, or group classes or dance parties. The instructors are all very experienced and just awesome! read more

I was introduced to the Youngstown Fred Astaire Dance Studio a little over 6 years ago by a good friend of mine. I went to the studio and took my first lesson. I never left. All of the instructors here are consummate professionals and they have become my second family. I had always wanted to learn to dance, even although I felt I had two left feet. They have proven me wrong and taken me to heights I never thought I could achieve! They have given me so much, enriching my quality of life in so many ways with their encouragement, humor and spot on teaching techniques. Please don't hesitate to give these professionals a chance to help you step out of your comfort zone and dance. Welcome to the Youngstown Fred Astaire Dance Studio. For over 60 years we have provided the community with dance instruction. Our unique teaching methods incorporate both private and group instruction. Private lessons provide each student with specialized and personalized attention, while group lessons offer the opportunity to develop leading/following skills. With over 3000 sq. ft. of dance space, The Youngstown Fred Astaire Dance Studio provides a fabulous atmosphere for Social Dancing as well as Competition Dancing.

Meet the Manager: Dustin J.

Dustin Jones has brought his thoughtful and intense style of dance instruction to both novice and advanced students, since the mid-90s. Dustin has been the co-owner and manager of the Youngstown Fred Astaire Dance Studio since 2002 and is one of the youngest Fred Astaire Franchise owners. Having danced since the tender age of five, he is, himself, the consummate student and is forever polishing his craft. As a nationally certified ballroom instructor and winner of numerous awards, he is a valued member of the Fred Astaire dance team.
