That was a huge red flag and honestly I shouldn't have gone forward with it but I decided to do a $50 intro monthly membership as I was advised they have a money back guarantee and I would not be locked into a renewing membership moving forward as long as I did the 8 classes. You are required to go in person and cancel which again I found pushy but sadly ignored that one too The business has multiple locations in Columbus, but I found getting to them to be a bit of a hassle. The locations I went to didn't have a parking lot so I had to grab street parking each time which caused me to be rather frazzled getting in on time and settling down. I did several classes, they were just okay. The instructors were fine. Because of the aforementioned issues and just lack of satisfaction, I decided to cancel my membership when I went to my final class. Again, I was met with pushback and an attempt to sell me on renewing which I again refused (red flag 3) The next day I was called by ANOTHER person attempting to get me to reconsider my cancellation (red flag 4!) I advised I already stated I wasn't interested, that the working and commute situations weren't good and there's plenty of yoga studios in clintonville I can attend so I will just go there. I THOUGHT that was the end of it. Well today I noticed the charge on my account for another full month of membership for $99 (red flag 5!) at this point I felt like this was a seedy business and made sure to take a picture of my signed cancellation before I left that day. At this point I was absolutely furious. I had completed all my requirements when trying out the studio and found it wanting and so I didn't want to go any longer. I had not pressed to get my original payment back per the agreement but at this point, they aren't even honoring my cancellation and taking time out of my day to argue with them so I asked them to reverse the charge, that I want my original $50 back and I wanted nothing further to do with them. Emerald Dean responds back and because my issues with cancellation stated are logistics and parking and wasn't because I didnt "notice a difference in mind, body and spirit" (no I am not joking) it was not a valid reason to cancel I swear you cannot make this stuff up. Like how am I supposed to notice a positive impact in my mind body and spirit when I told you I hate the driving and parking and I don't want to go there anymore? Red flag 6 if you're still counting. If you made it this far in the review and you still wanna go here, I don't know what else to tell you. Good luck I guess.

Over the past few years, we have had the good fortune to have seen a handful of shows & have been astounded each & every time. Most recently we saw their 2019 Columbus Dances Fellowship show which featured a wide variety of dance styles which included everything from traditional Indian dance to contemporary ballet to hip hop freestyle. It was hard to pick a favorite as they were all absolutely breathtaking. Parking is available, but fills quickly, so get there early! Seating is general admission, so again, get there early! Tickets are anywhere from $15-$30 typically & is based not only on the show but also student or senior discounts that are available.

A lovely, clean studio that's supporting the Eastern part of Columbus…read more They have quite a few (I wanna say 7?) chrome, 45mm poles with a silicone (!!!!) 45mm pole as well. It's small, but it's clean, with a full host of mirrors on one side of the studio to make it easier to see what you're doing. Every instructor I've had there has been really friendly and happy to work with all body types and individual needs. I believe they also have an instructor there who is fluent with ASL which is pretty cool. Everybody has been friendly and welcoming, and they have enough alcohol spray bottles and cloths for everyone to have their own at each pole. Large parking lot with lots of parking space you can use. Finding the front door is a bit complicated. Once you park, look for the entryway underneath the gigantic castle-like tower on top of the building. This door leads into a large, shared-use hallway which will lead to the Flourish entryway (which is at the end of the hallway).

I have attended several of the dance recitals and I am always amazed at the number of talented children I see performing up on stage.
