It turned out the class was a Beginner II rather than an intro, and the instructor was more of a demonstrator than a teacher. Despite struggling, I still enjoyed the class enough to sign up for a second session. That session was oversold, as the only pole available had a huge floor flaw that was TAPED over. Over the course of the class, the tape and adhesive became tackier and eventually ruined the shoes I was wearing for the first time. This resulted in my shoes literally sticking to the floor, so I couldn't complete a move and ended up painfully smashing my knees against the edge of the pole base, resulting in bruises on both. Despite being oversold and unsafe, the studio refuses to refund my session fee. I had two credits from signing up for the first session, and I asked for a refund after the 2nd class of the 2nd session. I should have my entire fee refunded, but they took two weeks to write me back and let me know that because the semi-present instructor didn't know I was in pain, they are going to KEEP MY MONEY?!?! The instructor saw me trying to remove the tape and goo from my shoes, but they are literally going to try to weasel out of being accountable with this. They should refund me for my session, replace my shoes, and acknowledge that their studio is UNSAFE, their classes are oversold, and their practices are shady. Really disgusted by the entire experience, it's a shameful way to run a business, and the lack of concern and support is negligent and irresponsible.

Michelle was very patient with our group, and helped us maneuver around the unknown of aerial fitness. The studio is split in two: one side for aerial fitness, and the other for poles (both are offered in 8 week packages). The studio also hosts various other classes such as women's self defense and hula hooping. The workout was definitely challenging, but we all had so much fun! I highly recommend this studio for anyone interested in trying aerial fitness or pole classes!

Sure, you might have a couple favorite kids, but never show it. It got to the point that my daughter made comments to my wife and I at home that "Ms. Nicole won't say hi to me." For anyone with young kids or had young kids, for a 3 year old to say this, it must be a pattern of behavior. It broke our hearts. And to cap off the experience, the night of the recital, my wife and I admit we forgot to pay the remaining balance with everything else going on in our lives (expecting baby #2 in 3 weeks to name the biggest). Nicole greeted my wife and mother-in-law in quite possibly the rudest and most disrespectful way imaginable...."I don't have time for this tonight. She can't come in until you pay!" Thankfully we had enough cash to pay, but she released our tickets the day before and would have sent us home for an oversight we clearly were willing to pay. She caused a scene, and it was completely out of line. Her tone, demeanor, attitude, and overall treatment of people she doesn't care for is unbelievably disappointing and unfortunate. Not to mention, the lack of organization at the recital, the lack of food and drinks for young kids, etc. was all shocking (it was from 4-7p). Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I gave it a very long try before reviewing. It's OK. Locker rooms nice. Yoga/Pilates space nice,…read morebut often music blocks out instructors' voices. Some of the instructors are AMAZING. They meet you where you are, as advertised, and are helpful rather than hypercritical. Thank you to them. Not all, though. You won't hear a lot of "honor yourself" or "breathe into it" or movement with breath instructions. Last week I heard, "Last week's class did all of this, so DO IT." "I've already worked out 2.5 hours today, so you have no excuse." "It's a good thing I'm pregnant or else you wouldn't be getting so many breaks." "You can drink water when we break for it." Last I checked, yoga is not a competitive sport. As for the place itself, water constantly leaks from a pipe or the water fountain or both. I and several others nearly fell because there's no wet floor sign, no towels put down, and the floor is tile. I called it out and got, "that always happens," so I laid towels and warned ppl myself. Safety not a first priority, nor cleanliness given that. I thought about bringing a friend who is physically limited, but I didn't want to risk a fall. Finally, while it may be fixed now, the humidifier has been broken for weeks, with many promises that it'll be fixed by a certain day, then the part is on order but "will be here today." Then "next week" ... practicing is possible in dry heat, but stating the room is always 40% when it's not is misleading. Dry air breeds more bacteria, and winter is rough on sinuses and muscles as it is. (Of course, some may not care, but the humidity was a #1 reason why I chose Drip.) Emily did extend membership for a week (verbally, but it never reflected on my account). Not clear whether I will pay for a new membership or not. I'm going to try a few more places first. Biggest concern aside from those, though, I often overheard instructors/owner complaining loudly about members and their complaints, and gossiping, which doesn't create the best vibe in the space. If it's important to you that the energy match your practice intentions, something to consider. But again ... Ilyce, great. Nicole, great. Dragan, intense but great. Briana, great. Watch the water on the floor and the possible lack of humidity, and look for those instructors, and you're mostly good to go.
