She just didn't seem to be advancing despite the significant extra-expense. We decided to try Mathnasium, but I was worried that my daughter might give us a tough time about it. At first, she was apprehensive, however, it's been about 6 months and we've seen a nice change in her skills and confidence level. She honestly seems to enjoy going. She can get her math homework done during the sessions as well. It's not an overnight miracle, but she is definitely doing much better.

As a new parents one thing we like to do is get our toddlers on a schedule. So we worked with iAchieve Learning to select a tutor to work with our 3 & 4 year old to reinforce what they were already learning at home. My two boys loved their time with the tutor. We did one 30 minute session each week for each boy. They loved it, so did mom and dad!

We tried out another center before this one (smaller national chain) and I can't rave enough about GBN when comparing the two. My child is not only loved by her teachers, but nurtured with excellent programming. Separate sleeping rooms for infants and max of 8 infants in a whole room, outdoor water playground for older kids. Costs are higher than some ($1640 a month for infants, cheaper as the child gets older), but is childcare really where you want to scrimp? Only downside is construction in the area - but I would hate to see the best child care center in the state suffer due to traffic patterns. They do tours once a month for prospective families.

Thanks to the amazing staff of teachers, who truly love the kids they teach, my son has grown into a well behaved, well rounded little boywho knows how to play well in the sandbox (pun intended!). The teachers provide music lessons, art, sensory, water play, education, and I swear the food they serve (all organic) is far superior than what I eat on a daily basis! We purposefully moved closer to GBN to make the commute to and from work and home easier. That's how important they are to us and how strongly we believe in this program. It is also NAESYC accredited which was hugely important to us. That way we know that GBN abides by a strict set of regulations that are to the children and parents' benefit.

We toured the center, submitted all required paperwork, and followed every step exactly as instructed. The previous director personally reassured us that our daughter would definitely have a spot in January, even after she transitioned to another location. Because of this reassurance, we planned our relocation, work schedules, and childcare arrangements around this enrollment. However, in mid-December, just weeks before the planned start date, after we brough our kid to touch base this place, we received an unexpected email from the new director stating that there was no availability for the Two-Year-Old program -- with no explanation, no acknowledgment of prior communication, and no alternative options offered. When I asked for clarification, her response was simply that she was "not aware of previous conversations," and that "typically enrollment begins with a tour." What was even more shocking is that she considered our brief visit last Friday -- which was meant to be a transition visit for our daughter -- as a "tour" that supposedly starts the enrollment process. If this is the case, it implies that after a director change, families must restart the entire enrollment process from the beginning, regardless of months of prior communication, paperwork, or commitments. This is not only ridiculous, but extremely unprofessional and unfair to families who plan responsibly and rely on the center's guidance. The new director's position seems to be that all prior communication "does not count" unless it went through her, essentially erasing months of work, promises, and planning. The tone was dismissive and lacked basic empathy for the situation that her own center created. I understand that childcare availability can be limited, but what was most disappointing was the lack of transparency, poor internal communication, and the absence of courtesy in how this was handled. No family should be told "you have no spot" at the last minute after being reassured for months. I sincerely hope Children's Land will improve their internal processes, director handoffs, and communication with families so that others do not experience the same disruption and frustration. We started from August, and now ended up with no spot. Thank you for letting me your dark side as this is trult not professional.

Recently had my elementary school daughter's birthday there. We were super excited to sing and…read morerecord in the studio. We had booked the party 2 months in advance and picked the song off the list they provided. We were told that the song would be on the tv screen so the kids could read it. Instead when we arrived the song was printed on a piece of paper for the kids to hold. We were very disappointed and underwhelmed by the experience from start to finish. the administrative help were very friendly with booking the party and securing the date, We found the actual party to be disappointing. The woman who 'taught' the kids to learn the song was boring, disinterested and lacked the type of enthusiam that was needed to ensure the kids were excited to record. All she did was give out a piece of paper and had the kids practice over and over. She did not split them into groups, nor make it fun and kept looking at the clock to see 'when they could go to the studio.' She then kept saying to the group of 8 year olds 'are you nervous.' Instead of encouraging them and being enthusiastic. She was disorganized and when asked if the kids wanted to sing the song again had the majority of the kids say 'no,' even the adults were not wanting to sing again.she made little effort to break up the song, make it more interesting. it was an overall disappointing experience for my daughter. If you do a party there, make sure you find out who will lead it.The facility is nice and clean.. the employees will do minimal extra for you. You will take the lead on setting up the room and will need to ask for them to get out tables for the party. I had higher hopes. It is a nice facility and for the price of the party it was just okay. We have had much better parties.

My younger one started the following summer in their 2-3 classroom and has progressed to their 3-6 (she's in her 3rd year now). We love how kind the teachers are and helpful the entire staff is. It is a well-oiled machine, but takes the time to work with each family's unique needs. They have been very helpful when my work schedule fluctuated - allowing me to switch days or add hours as needed. My younger daughter is reading now - not because anyone is pushing her, but because she enjoys it because of the Montessori process. Their educational model is American-style Montessori, so even though there are rules to be followed, their is much nurturing and compassion that accompanies learning activities. She has learned about all different cultures and some French, Spanish, & Italian! Lunches are amazing - Chef Don makes gourmet food that your kid will actually eat. I am so impressed by how dynamic my girls' palettes are now & I'm almost certain its because of those lunches. We have also really enjoyed the Fun in the Sun Summer Camp. Even though we are not Greek, we've found the most welcoming and inclusive community here--about 20% of the students aren't Greek, and yet everyone is embraced as family. One of the things I've appreciated most, especially when my children were younger, is how naturally they formed relationships with older students. It's a unique environment where kids of all ages interact, and there's a strong culture of mutual respect and kindness across grade levels. Our children take Greek every day and have become impressively fluent--it's amazing to see how confident they are speaking a new language! The class sizes are small, which allows for personalized attention, and the teachers and administrators are truly exceptional--nurturing, dedicated, and highly focused on each child's growth. It's a close-knit community that really supports both students and families. There are plenty of opportunities for involvement, from after-school activities and enriching field trips to school-wide efforts that teach the importance of giving back. Most importantly, the school keeps its focus where it belongs--on strong academics, character development, and traditional values that help shape well-rounded, grounded children.
