Classes are intermediate and if you are looking for a beginner class you would have to give them a call to see what arrangements can be made. I have never been to a bachata class and I did the intermediate class and it was manageable. A Salsa intermediate class is held shortly after at 4 pm and the cost is $15.00 as well. This place is the most unique dance studio and I believe it should be considered an tourist attraction when visiting CT and a must-visit when staying in Middletown. Located in downtown, Middletown, CT, Vinnie's is home to a bunch of different alternative classes, including (but not limited to) Yoga, Belly dancing, swing, B-Boying, and the list does not stop there. This is the dance school that seems to caters to adults first, and then the children. The ages of folks taking these classes varies from 17 to 67 and probably beyond! The classes are also affordable. As a bboy, I stepped into a swing-dancing club night there and it was amazing - they treated me like one of their locals and when the beat was right, I was able to do my thing and they loved it. It was a great show of reciprocated respect and admiration for how we expressed ourselves. Anyway, I would take a look at Vinnie's, see their schedule and take a class or two! Not only did our expertly choreographed routine set the tone for the rest of the evening and shock every one of our guests, but we both experienced a moment where the world melted away and all we saw was each other. Watching the videos of the dance we can hear cheering and clapping, but neither of us have any memory of that occurring while we were dancing. Crystal took two non-dancers and made us look fabulous - more so than we could have ever dreamed! With her expertise and Josh's style coaching we felt so comfortable performing the routine. We could not recommend Crystal and Josh any more!! We are confident that we would not have received a fraction of the individualized attention and choreography had we gone to a run of the mill ballroom dance studio. I arrived at my scheduled appointment time and no one was there. I have asked for a refund, but doubt I'll hear anything back. I highly recommend not utilizing this studio for anything, unless you want your money taken. I will be filing with the BBB, Dept of Consumer protection, and possibly seeking legal counsel if I am not reimbursed in a timely fashion. Avoid at all costs. They do not care about your mind, body, or soul.

The dedication and commitment that each teacher provides is demonstrated through their outstanding choreography, support for their dancers and fun events for all dancers to participate.
