Ultimately, I decided to pull her out because I didn't feel that 30-minute classes for $85 a month were worth it, especially considering the commute we have to make to get there. Classes are twice a week Monday and Saturday and I also wasn't very impressed with the program itself. It didn't feel like much of a dance class. It was more like the kids were running around to songs. There was some bubble blowing, and in one class, the instructor even read a book. I was hoping for more structure and actual dance instruction. I also made the mistake of purchasing a dance outfit and shoes from their storefront because I thought my daughter would need a uniform. However, on the first day of class, I was told that her age group didn't require one. A couple of days later, I saw the order status change to "ready for pickup," but when we went to get it, we were told nothing was there. I kept trying to call, but no one ever answered only a text thread for follow-up. I continued checking, but nothing was ever actually ready. When we decided to cancel on 5/2, I had already been billed $85, and we still didn't have her outfit or shoes. I reached out via text that Saturday (since they don't answer the phone) and didn't hear anything back. I followed up again on Sunday (5/3) and still got no response. Finally, on Monday (5/4), I heard back and was asked to fill out a cancellation form. After submitting the form, I was told the outfit had arrived and that I could come pick it up. I responded the same day asking if the outfit could be refunded, but I never received a reply. Keep in mind, the outfit is branded with their dance logo. Since we canceled, there's really no reason for us to keep it especially because the class we were in didn't even require uniforms. Wednesday and Thursday passed with no response. Finally, I reached out again early Friday morning asking for a follow-up. I received this response: "Hello! Sorry about the delay. I have reached out about your refund and am just waiting to hear back. I'll keep you updated!" Then later, I was told, "Unfortunately, we don't issue refunds, but we can apply that amount to your account for future purchases." Future purchases after we just canceled the membership. Overall, if you have a child under 4, I wouldn't recommend this studio. And if you value communication and good customer service, I also wouldn't recommend it. I feel like a lot of this could have been avoided if they had clearly explained what the classes involve, what the kids would actually be doing, the dress code requirements, and their no-refund policy upfront. Tylene Nichols claims that that wasn't adequate. She admits that there was a misunderstanding, but insist on charging us for services, not received. My advice would be to not use this company at all, but if you choose to enroll your child. Do not give them access to your credit card. Tylene claimed that she has a 30 day drop policy. The half owner of the studio, who teaches full time at another studio in phoenix and only work with…read morethe girls for a few hours once a week, has a system where you as a parent are deathly afraid to voice any opinion or concern because they will write a message as seen in the pictures attached. This message went out to the entire studio - including all of the kid dancers. Extremely unprofessional and has created a system where parents have zero voice because they are very aggressive in the "just pay us and we know what's best for your family" attitude.

The best part- she feels as though she is part of a community of dancers and is supported the minute she enters the studio until she leaves. I can't say enough good things about the studio- having been to others in the city, BC has highly skilled teachers and allows their dancers to live heir dreams while reaching their true potential.
