This is especially valuable for some of my family members whose English are pretty limited. The people in there are always quiet and respectful. They have a bunch of computers and access to copiers/printers/staplers/hole punches. They also now have a free jigsaw puzzle swap shelf. The lower level has rooms to rent. My local jigsaw puzzle swap group does a large swap in one of those rooms from time to time. It is within walking distance of my home, but there is always a place to park. It is in a strip mall so other shopping can be done on a visit to this library. There is also Little Free Library within a block of Twinbrook Library. It is a treasure for the Twinbrook Community and well loved by all of us.

I'm surprised I haven't written a review for this place since I've spent tons of times here sitting in the aisles, thumbing through books, deciding which were worthy to be part of my pile. Early high school me and me now have very different tastes in books, thank goodness. My favorite part of the library is the new non-fiction books section. I don't really know how the library system works, but I'm always so proud that this branch carries new, relevant books all the time. I feel like they keep us readers in mind when selecting. Buzzy books like Girl, Wash Your Face were there when I've looked for them. They have a few computer self check-outs here, so quick and convenient. Parking can get a little tight, but always so happy to see people in the library!

Living in Ballenger Creek, it's actually more convenient for me to go online and have books transferred here for an easy pick up instead of going to the downtown branch and struggling with parking. They hold a fair amount of events as well, such as story times and holiday crafts for kids. The kids area is pretty well stocked for limited space. There's a small, ok tiny, play area but the puzzles and two iPads should keep the little ones occupied for a bit. There is only one computer for patron use but there's rarely a delay in waiting for it. IMPORTANT: check hours before visiting! They are open Monday-Wednesday and Saturday only, with only afternoon/evening hours on Wednesday.
