I didn't get to try all the ciders, but that is okay as I still had fun. Met a few folks as always. The performers were cool. Loved that they had four food vendors this year. In addition, some vendors had extra things like cookies, apple cider donuts, and kettle corn popcorn to name a few. That being said the one major disappointment this year, comparing to years past, is the crazy plan to go with DJs instead of live bands. This is such a major once per year festival and you go with a DJ in the main area playing poor song selection vinyl. The DJ in the other area was playing much better music appropriate for the festival. Great food selections this year but overall number of breweries was down. Still, with all available the bands looking to make a name for themselves, the powers that be go with a DJ, crazy!

It feels like a family the minute you start working on a show, and you can really get down in the dumps when the show ends. The caliber of talent I've seen and met over many seasons keeps me and my family coming back. It's truly one of the best theatre experiences in the DC metro area. As previous reviewers have mentioned, it's a small and intimate black box style theatre with limited seating - so, get your tickets early because their shows often sell out! It was very clean and surprisingly private -- the stalls have walls that go all the way from the ceiling down to the floor with no gaps, which you rarely see in public restrooms. It made the whole visit feel even more comfortable. Spinners is a great mix of nostalgia, modern arcade fun, and thoughtful details. We had a fantastic family day.
