Do not go to this doctor. I was overcharged and misdiagnosed. They charged me for two injections, at $500 a piece, which I did NOT receive. I was understanding, as this was probably an error. When I asked for this to be removed from my bill, it was denied. Their office claimed I had signed permission to get an injection and that proves that it was done. Probably some sneaky way of making money. BUT I did not receive these injections. They will charge $100 per foot to put three pieces of tape on it for strapping. I wish I was aware of this, as I could have done this myself. For x-rays, they will bill your insurance 4 times for each "type" of x-ray. I now have a $700 bill for being misdiagnosed and I feel completely mistreated. I went elsewhere and obtained a second opinion. I just love my doctor, Dr. Frederick N. Fedorchak. He is an outstanding Podiatrist. He is skilled and very knowledgeable in what he does. He seems very passionate in what he does. He truly​ cares about the health of his patients. He is such a people's person. He greets you with such kindness and he knows his patients. I've haven't met a doctor who actually remembers my name without looking at a chart and always ask about my husband & kids by their names. Wow!!! He is treating my feet for plantar fasciitis. A condition I've unknowingly had several years before seeing him. Great doctor and his staff is phenomenal! If you have any foot issues go see Dr. Frederick N. Fedorchak, Portage Indiana. The staff are the rudest, most unhelpful people I have ever dealt with. My appointment started with about 3 receptionists not knowing what the heck they were doing. They asked me the same questions about 5 times regarding my insurance. I was in for a second opinion, so I brought my own Xrays. Their computer system was down, so they were unable to review them. I was told I would not be charged for Xrays. I was also told that I would only be paying for an office visit. The bill I got in the mail was for 16x's what I was told it would be in the office! Of course, I assumed it was an error that would be sorted out straight away. After speaking to Kimberly, who apparently thinks she is just Queen Bee, we agreed on a compromise. She told me the exact dollar amount to expect my updated bill to reflect. And suprise! My new bill was only adjusted $60. So I call again. My call was not returned. I call the next day, and Queen Bee now decides to tell me that she doesn't have the authority to make adjustments. That sure would have been nice to know when we spoke the first time. She was outwardly rude, unhelpful, and down right hateful. Her suggestion was for me to write a letter, and she would be sure to get it to the doctor. Oh, and my appointment that should have taken about an hour, took almost 4. This office is a joke. I would never trust these people with a nice pen, let alone performing surgery on me! read more
