Baked on goodness…read more Got a bitchin' set of spinners on that 96 Dodge Neon? Wonder why they're all rusted up? First of all they were made in China (like every piece of crap we buy now) and chromed with inferior coating. Second, your lack of motivation in life has led to total neglect of your rims and now they are rusty like a cold war era Russian nuclear sub. Go see Gary and the boys at Extreme. They will bake on a tough as nails coat of metallic pink to match your Hello Kitty seat covers and air freshener. Then go back to your sedintary lifestyle watching baby's momma dramas on day time TV while that sweet ride of yours is the envy of the trailer park (never worrying about rusty rims again). In fact....bring em anything that won't melt in a big oven (no plastic). Hell, bring your toilet and have it powder coated burgundy and gold with a suh-weet 'skins emblem on the lid. Big items, no problemo....the baking oven is the size of your double wide. Bottom line: Get baked and coated then leave your worries behind. ....hey, just like you every weekend Rasta mon.

I dropped my motorcycle rims off 3 weeks ago for powder coating. The original color I wanted was…read moregold, but Gary the owner spent 10 minutes explaining that he was never able top get the color right and in the end it looked bad. So I agreed with flat black, that was 2 weeks ago. Called him last week only to be told he was just starting to work on the wheels. All this week I receive no phone call, email text or anything. I drop by his shop and find out that NOTHING was done to the wheels except strip them. I will never do business with Gary Lamb or Extreme Powder Coating nor will I recommend ANYONE to use them. I got my wheels back and took them to AMERICA STRIPPING In Manassas. No back and forth on the colors, no excuses and this company has standards that EXTREME apparently does not know about when it comes to coating wheels! Visit ASCOWEB.com and see their gallery, give them a call and you will be pleased with actual Customer Service.

I got a quote from Rob for bent wheel repair starting at $180…read more On March 27, 2025, I dropped off my wheel with Boris, who had reopened the shop. I emailed Rob on Monday, March 30, to let him know I had dropped it off. This was his response: "No problem, thanks for the heads up! It will be ready for pickup by tomorrow. Thanks." When I returned the next day, Rob's coworker rang me up for $300. I told him Rob had quoted me $180. Rob then told his coworker $200, and the price was lowered accordingly. However, I was also pressured to leave an online review. This was my experience dealing with this company, and it will be my last.

Here's how my story starts…read more I ordered (what I thought were) higher-end sun louvers for the rear window of my car. The mount plates for the louvers came unpainted, which wasn't good. I tried painting them myself but spray paint was not a long-term solution. This is where Eurobeatwheels comes in. I put out a request to those who do powder coating. EBW responded with a reasonable quote, I brought them over, and recently picked them after a few weeks. (This was not a rush order, I didn't plan on mounting the louvers for a while.) They actually charged me less than the quote, which may have been because it was a small project. With that being said, the very fact EBW took the job makes it more likely I'll be turning to them for additional work, such as powder coating the sun louvers themselves this winter. And, of course, probably the wheels for a semi-classic car I keep touching up periodically. Thanks!

The best pros I've found in 20 years of looking for a good metal refinisher…read more The finishes in my Victorian house are bronze (door knobs, locks and hinges), and were in terrible condition. Two different metal refinishers attempted to restore them--one did so-so and one was terrible. The guys at Metal Magic brought them back to their original splendor and way exceeded by highest expectations. They understand that certain metals, like bronze, require different polishing processes than brass. They took enormous care regarding other details. For example, instead of just refinishing the visible part of the locks, they disassembled, cleaned and lubricated each lock mechanism which I now expect to work for another 140 years. I pointed out to them that my exterior door-set needed to be refinished every few years due to sun exposure and they suggested applying a clear ceramic coat to that one instead of the usual varnish--which should stand up for many more years. All this, and their prices are quite reasonable.

After years of neglect and sitting in our basement, we took a look at our Arabian brass table that…read morewas inherited from family. Unfortunately, everyone used a harsh chemical brass polish that had worn down the lacquer finish considerably; as well, from pet stains had damaged it through corrosion. We thought there was no chance in saving it. After talking with Dave, I dropped the table off at the antique store and got it back within two weeks, when he had estimated 3-4 weeks. As well, the final price was below the original quote! I appreciate being given an over-estimate. But most importantly, the finished piece was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I couldn't believe the improvement, from a tarnished, smoke and pet stain damaged piece. Dave is very talented and will save your things like he did ours!
