I just came back from a business trip from Dallas left my keys in my car, called Fred he answered the phone and said he could be at my house right away & arrived about 15 minutes later. Fred didn't try and overcharge I get into my house, he said he'd have to drill the lock out with the new kwickset lock I had. My wife worked about 15min away, so instead of pushing me to drill out the lock, he drove me to get my spare keys at my wife's work and drive me back home! Fred did a great job repairing an old front door mortise lock which i didn't want to replace with a modern version. most locksmiths won't bother with old locks. Thanks YELPERS this time you did good! I needed a patio key re-made due to my previous tenant who lost the original copies. Thank goodness I had a copy. While this type of key was not one of those "do not duplicate" kind, I knew from previous attempt to making a copy of it that it requires a good locksmith. Don't bother going to Lowe's or HD.. both were failure in recreating this key. My go-to locksmith location was apparently closed when I arrive one Saturday morning (what locksmith is close on Saturday???)---anyway...I went to Yelp and try to located one that would be close to where I was. Fred came to my rescue! Now when I first arrived to the biz address, I was a bit confused. I thought it was a store, but turns out Fred works out of his garage. .I called Fred to make sure I was in the right location. Thank you Fred for your expert locksmith services. I originally went to NOT ONE but TWO Nissan Dealers and they couldn't trace my valet key code from my VIN. Dealerships! No help from them! Fred is a very experienced locksmith and has worked to re-key 6 locks on my house today. He is a perfectionist and was able to get the locks switched out and to turn smoothly (even on older locks). After foolishly losing my only key to my 2007 Ninja 650, and having no luck finding the the keycode i had to turn to yelp for help, not wanting to pay a arm and a leg for rekeying a bike lock(usually $$$$$) i started looking for local locksmith, after having no luck finding a place that opens after 5 or weekends i found Fred. Freddie is an outstanding service and price was reasonable. I was having issue with the door on my storage unit at my condo. the cause of the lock to be stuck was an improper door installation that was crooked and he redid the door to make the door shut properly. Now, the door is easier to unlock and lock. It was just $77.50 to repair the damage on the door. I had the door installed by the HOA few years ago and it was hard to unlock and lock the door and this summer I was not able to open the door because the lock was totally stuck could not go any further and the cause was the inconstancy door installation Thank you Freddie and I would repeat Freddie.
