A few days before the actual move, she sent a reminder/confirmation email (which I appreciated as it showed that they are on top of things). The movers appeared on time and were very careful yet fast and efficient. And - they charged us $169.50, because the job was "easier than expected"! Board Of your Flooring promised me a great floor, and gladly took my money. My staff and myself have struggled to keep it looking as good as possible. It was pouring rain while they were bringing in items and they covered them up with additional blankets to ensure that our items would not get wet. The guys that showed up to our home on moving day were rushed and did not wrap our furniture properly. Poorly used shrink wrap around wood and leather furniture that should have been blanketed. The lack of care caused alotof damage to our wood products. At the last minute our belongings needed to be so stored because a truck coming out to Manitoba was suddenly not available. Our belongings were basically dumped into a trailer and then loaded onto the moving truck days later. We booked our move at least three months in advance and everything that Dave and Zach Johnson assured us would not happen, happened. We have broken lamps, missing items, a severely damaged desk, couch and loveseat. Please save yourself the unnecessary stress and avoid this mover like the plague. They are not worth the expense that their lack of respect for you and your furniture will cost you in the end.
