The staff was attentive and food came out quickly considering the quality. The bathrooms were clean and if you have a kid you can get crayons/paper for them. The food here was amazing. The duck spread with jam was one of the coolest appetizers I had during my time in CR. The ribs were cooked to perfection. Honestly everything I tasted was super high quality and fairly priced. We sat in the smaller room on the right, which also has a heating stove for the cooler days. And huge, spacious terrace in the summer, which we didn't get to utilize as it wasn't that warm when we were there. The wait staff was fast, easy going and attentive to our needs. The walls arch quite a bit, as my husband found out, when he bumped his head. That shows to pay more attention in historical buildings, such as this one. They have good variety of traditional Czech dishes. The menu is both in Czech and English. We ordered: Home-made liver pate with onion marmalade and bread. It was so good, we basically "woofed it down" and ordered another one. Home-made cabbage soup - thick, hot and delicious. Definitely hit the spot. Beef goulash with dumplings - the quality of meat was first class. Classic dish that you can't go wrong with. Roast pork with cabbage and dumplings - the most traditional dish you can possibly order in Czechia. It was divine. Mulled wine - which was my most favorite part of the dinner :) Highly recommend trying this place out when visiting Cesky Krumlov, you won't regret it.

Gazing out on the river. I love eating here. And the food is delectable. I got the hovezi vyvar, which I think is a pretty basic soup when compared to other Czech soups, but this one was soooo good. I loved the noodles. Then the gulas with super yummy mixed knedliky dumplings. Was so good. Loved the red onions on top. It was allllll good. The gulas was a little more liquidy/runny than I've had in the past, but so good. Ended with Medovnik which is a must. The whipped cream and all was so good. Yum. Loved every bite.

Csesky Krumlov is a tiny town, but this place happened to be across a small bridge about 40m from our hotel. Their sausage and fries totally satisfied our craving. It was a sort of kielbasa and the fries were cooked perfectly. There were little pickled peppers that went well with all of it too. Service was quick and polite. I've been feeling like a Neanderthal all week because we don't have a "contactless" credit card yet (they're just being introduced in the US, but standard here), but I totally blew the server's mind when I tried tap and pay with my iPhone and it worked. Anyways, Lazebna was good. A little expensive, but this is a tourist town. They have a terrace overlooking the river, so it made for a very pleasant and satisfying lunch.
