I found Freedman Chiropractic in an emergency situation and called, not being Dr. Freedman's patient yet. Luana, the office manager, heard the pain in my voice and, after speaking with the Dr., told me to come right in. I found out afterward that the office was just closing when I called, and they stayed because I needed to come in. I have bone spurs in my neck that cause my fingers to tingle and go numb without regular adjusting, and since NJ lockdown, I hadn't seen a chiropractor since February. I had been awakening 5-6 times a night with the numbness and tingling, so my quality of sleep was very poor, affecting my daily functioning. I also had been silently suffering with indigestion at night for at least 3 months, which I failed to mention, as a chiropractor has nothing to do with the stomach.... During the treatment, he stopped in between 2 vertebrae and asked if I was having stomach problems, citing the area that he was concerned about affected the gastrointestinal areas!! He adjusted me; that was the first week of August. No indigestion since; who would have guessed. I also have had no circulatory problems in my hands, waking me, since the first adjustment, with the exception of once, because I couldn't make it for an adjustment for a couple of weeks. I have the privilege of working with Dr. Freedman and see firsthand the many transformations in his patients. I am also the mother of three daughters that have suffered from chronic migraine headaches since their preteen years. So after a couple of weeks not being able to stand up straight or walk like a typical human being, on my wife's recommendation I made an appointment at the Freedman Chiropractic Center. After a comprehensive evaluation, Dr Ken Freedman was able to determine the cause of my pain and developed an approach to help my body heal itself with the use of his knowledge and education. Dr. Ken is thoughtful gentle and very detailed, his 40+ years experience brought me back to life. Hospitalized, near death in 2019, I languished in bed for months waiting for a liver transplant to save my life, After my surgery, I began a long recovery plagued with chronic neuropathy and pain... What an extraordinary experience!... I never fully understood the many benefits, especially the holistic benefits surrounding the chiropractic industry until visiting with Dr. Freedman. I came into his office (as a skeptic) with a noticeably large unhealed burn wound on my arm, what happen later was quite unexpected. After my 1st week of adjustments, my wound started to rapidly heal. My limp went away and (per my sleep number app) my "heart rate variability" increased from low to high. I've been going to chiropractors for years, but none of them came close to what Ken does. I was in extreme pain and had difficulty walking and riding my motorcycle.
