I've been having shoulder pain and limited external rotation for a few years. A well regarded ortho told me my option was shoulder replacement. But instead, I hire a personal trainer who focused on my left shoulder, as well as overall conditioning. I also began PT. Dr. Sunkara examined me, confirmed the need for PT, and is guiding me in my journey to improve my shoulder function w/out the need for surgery. She also helped with my more recent knee injury providing medication and working with the staff to provide me with a brace and physical therpay with laser therapy. I can not say enough great things about this facility. This is by far the most compassionate and professional group of people I have ever been around. My vulnerability was at an all time high because I had a very serious accident with 3 spinal fractures and a major head trauma. I cried and was a mess and unable to drive, walk without feeling off balance! I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle. Hemali who helped me with occupational and vestibular therapy Was so patient and helpful. She nursed me back to being myself. John & Christian also helped me a lot of the time. So many members of the staff got to know me and treated me like family. Don't even get me started about how lucky the owner is to have John as his manager.. he is the most efficient kindest guy. They were so accommodating to me and my schedule and recovery. I will forever be grateful. Even the owner made it his business to get to know me and genuinely cared about my progress. My situation was severe and quite honestly I picked the location because it was close to my house and I was afraid to drive for months. I just got lucky that I found this gem. I want to thank the Staff at the Monroe location for going above and beyond for my elderly father. My dad was supposed to get his back brace fitted last week. Prior to getting there he had a medical Emergency and ended up in the hospital then moved to a rehab. We contacted the staff and they were amazing. The staff are very attentive and work to get you up on your feet or able to lend a hand. They work to make you feel better than you did when you walked in the door. I've never met a staff that is as friendly as this one. From the moment you sign in until the moment you leave, every single person is kind. Dr. Ma has worked with me for 3 weeks now, understanding that my pain, although hard to explain at times, is serious to me and at times affects daily activities. I'm tired of the pain but the pain also makes me tired. He works with me at a pace I feel comfortable with. My experience with this company was - What they do and say are two different things. They told me they accept my insurance then they made me sign an agreement that I would be responsible for the balance. They billed my insurance and balance billed me the rest of the bill which is ENORMOUS. If you want to throw away money then go right ahead and go. My advise is save yourself the aggravation and go ELSEWHERE. What they are doing is unethical! They are out of network for the insurances companies that they tell you they "accept" which is how they are getting away with this. STAY AWAY GO ELSEWHERE!! read more
