This review is intended to warn future members of this recreational volleyball club…read more Background: I have played with the volleyball hitters for years and I think it is appropriate to list my discontentment about the club. 1. Conflict of Interest. Rocio has a team, therefore, the volleyball rules, game schedules and team reffing doesn't apply to her team. For many seasons, I have noticed a pattern. Rocio changes the schedule during the game to benefit her team. For example, her team is always scheduled to play 2 games, 3 games or 4 games in a row. You will never see her team sit in between games. 2. Volleyball rules are a joke. If you play against Rocio's team; the rule book is out the window and referees do not have the backbone to stand with their calls. At one point, Rocio overrides the rule when it comes to her team's advantage and the ref just agrees with it. Call it dirty volleyball. Refs are just there for the sake of it. They make terrible calls ALL THE TIME. 3. False advertisement. They tell you that the season is for 10-12 weeks but really if your team makes it to the playoffs, you play for that duration but if not; you only play for 10 weeks (recent change - used be just 8 weeks). It's quite a short time for the amount ($85) you pay. Other leagues charge $60 for the duration of the calendar season (13-14 weeks). 4. No incentives. For the price you pay, at least give the champions and nonwinners some sort of a reward..a volleyball perhaps, a t-shirt or a pen (hell, I'll take it). Bragging rights is not fitting due to the club's reputation. 5. Disorganized club. You would think that Howie and Rocio (organizers) have dot their "i"s and crossed their "t"s but after several complaints or suggestions from the players; NOTHING is done. Same old, same old. It saddens me because this is the only volleyball club that hosts women's league in the area and as a player, you suck it up and move on with your frustrations because you love the sport. It is disheartening to publicly give the recreational club a review but no matter how many times you suggest directly to the organizers; they simply do not make the changes. Again, if you are a volleyball enthusiast and really enjoys the sport, you are better off joining another league. Volleyball hitters is chaotic and expensive. #imnotadebbiedowner #justsavingyourass #yourewelcome

The same with trampoline, a fun approach to teach discipline, strength and confidence. My kids love being here and always leave confident and feeling loved. Because trampolines can be dangerous if not used appropriately the coaches will correct and redirect kids to use the equipment safely. Other reviews cite coaches being stern, however, this environment is so safe (and it needs to be to prevent injury) and I feel very comfortable and confident that my kids are being trained safely and properly. Safety is a huge component of their program.

The owner aggressively yelled at our daughter and even went so far as to grab her arm--completely inappropriate behavior, especially for someone working with young children. What makes it worse is that despite clear footage showing the incident, the owner denied it ever happened and has refused to take responsibility or offer any kind of reimbursement. All the children run through the hallway--ours was no different--but instead of addressing it with the parents, the owner went straight to the child in a confrontational and unacceptable manner. We have never been treated this way at any children's activity before. If you can't handle working with kids respectfully and calmly, you shouldn't be running a business for them. I would not recommend this place to any parent who values their child's safety and emotional well-being.
