I do not have enough good things to say about Freedom Chiropractic. I was in search of a chiropractor who specialized in prenatal adjustments (Webster certified) and that's when I was referred to Freedom Chiropractic. I was treated by both Dr. Dan and Dr. Anthony throughout my pregnancy, all the way up until my due date. Dr. Dan has been amazing for our 2year old! We came to him with many issues related to sensory, bowel movements & not wanting to wear pants for many months because he said it hurt. This review for Dr. Dan is long overdue. I first went to see him during the second trimester of my pregnancy back in 2020. I felt a pinched nerve from doing yoga and was also experiencing back ache from walking. I started noticing a difference right after the first adjustment. I visited here in December 2020 at the peak of the 2nd wave of Covid. No hand sanitizer, no one in the office wears a mask. Patients are not required to wear masks or the front desk person. Brought my high risk baby in for help with his torticollis and walked out upon seeing everyone in the practice maskless. We already spent 72 days in the NICU this year I don't need another reason to go back Freedom chiropractic. Pregnant women are 70% more likely to die of Covid than other Covid positive people. I got in a car accident in February and tried PT, some acupuncture and another Chiro before coming to Dr. Dan. I'm seeing him due to neck pain from my accident and also started seeing him for my pregnancy. I started seeing Dr Dan at about 20 Weeks pregnant due to some pretty intense back/rib pain that I started to experience. Within the first 2 visits, my pain subsided. Then my SI joints decided to act up after a flight to Europe. As soon as I got back to the states, Dr Dan found the issue I was having and relieved my pain almost instantaneously. I have been seeing him every week during my pregnancy and I can't tell you how much it has helped get me through my 2nd and 3rd trimesters with minimal pain/discomfort. I also don't think it's a coincidence that my baby boy has been head down and in position since week 20. At my 35 week appointment, I found out my daughter was breech. Dr. Dan was referred to me by a dear friend of mine and after 3 visits he was able to turn my breech baby! He not only turned my baby he also helped with my pregnancy sciatica. Dr. Dan is great at explaining what it is exactly he doing during his adjustments. I am so thankful to Dr. Anthony and the staff. I'm guilty of not writing enough reviews simply because it's rare these days to encounter exceptional service. So when I recently (yesterday 3-9-2022) booked an appointment with Dr. Anthony to examine my 15 year old son for back pain/discomfort, I was shocked at just how informative and thorough he was in explaining the causes and effects from my son's back pain. He walked us through every little detail and it immediately made sense. I'm the type of person who has to hear information as opposed to learn or read from a book. So for me, that was extremely valuable. Dr. Anthony spoke to us like everyday people and not like he'd hold a conversation with one of his medical colleagues. He was also a great listener and paused throughout his communication to either ask us questions or give us a chance to chime in. Too many medical professionals make the patient feel rushed and begin to talk over the patient. Not Dr. Anthony. All and all, I felt like we got lucky simply because I did nothing more than Google Chiropractors in my area and their office was literally down the street from me.
