Very disappointed in the lack of time management in the office. My first appointment I waited well over 30 minutes with no communication, I figured that this was just a one time thing. I showed up to my second appointment on time and after 15 minutes of waiting, asked what the ETA was and was told there was still one patient in front of me with another 15 minute wait. There was no communication about the delay and that I would be waiting 30 minutes before my appointment. If clients are not going to be seen on time, they should be scheduled accordingly as this is very disrespectful to peoples time. read more

I am not a fan on chiropractor visits and rarely go but finally decided I better when I was experiencing tingling in my lower neck and finger. I found this doctor in Aetna website and it was close to home. I genuinely like Dr. O'Toole. He takes time with his patients, provides great explanations and has convenient hours. My experiences with his front staff have been amazing. Friendly. Prompt. Hassle free. I have seen him twice now and even had adjustments which have always terrified me. I experienced a major lower back blowout late on a Sunday evening, I was in excruciating pain and unable to move. (anyone with back issues knows how debilitating this can be) Come Monday morning I learned my previous Chiropractic office was closed down and found O'toole Chiropractic via Google. I called them at 8AM and explained the situation, to which they fit me in at 9AM that same day. I was treated (still undergoing treatment) by Dr. McGilva, and was surprised to not be given some of the typical chiropractic explanations, which I have heard many times in the past. Would have given a 4 except for the bad experience with the billing and rude office staff. Dr. Otoole was very pleasant and effective. The massage therapists were very friendly and effective. The front office is another story. The receptionist can be less than friendly and the billing woman is unreliable and extremely rude and condescending when called out. I went in in search of a new chiropractor closer to home. Was so happy at first. The billing woman offered to confirm with my insurance what I would owe them. She told me I owed nothing because I had a health savings account. I then happily scheduled 12 more visits at their urging. Once I found out my insurance hadn't paid them, I had to investigate. Found out I had a health reimbursement account which doesn't pay me back until I've met $1,000 of my deductible. After I had incurred a $300 bill, I found out I couldn't get reimbursed at all because my deductible wasn't met. When I called out Dr. Otoole's office that they gave me wrong information, they unsympathetically said you're still getting your money back. But I didn't get it back. The billing woman even went to far as to be extremely rude to me when I told her she gave me wrong information. Hard lesson learned to trust this office to tell me my insurance would cover all those visits they pressured me to make. I would have been happy to do 2 visits a month instead of 12. read more
