Being educated from a third-party is better than trying to learn from your own parents. For mental reasons, the third-party instruction is more forgiving to your child. Their prices are comparable to most, but by far, are more advanced than other courses around us. Their driving instructors are also law enforcement officers still serving or retired. The driving instructor completely lost his cool before even leaving the parking lot and continued to do so multiple times making the situation progressively worse. We heard from another new driver to avoid Brad S. at all cost, but didn't catch it in time. In my opinion, if the instructor is instigating and escalating a hostile driving environment, using bullying tactics while in a position of authority over minors, it's time to find other employment. I called and left an angry parent message and the office called me back and was very polite and a couple days later the owner called and said he'd look into the situation and took the incident very seriously. Since the one terrible incident, things have been much better with other instructors. More updates to come...

They are very supportive and they help guide you to pick perfect times for drives they understand when you make mistakes and they take time to explain to you how to fix your mistake. They are very on top with you doing your work that they give out but it's understanding because how are you gonna learn if you don't put the effort in. Zutobi is a good way to practice and learn the road signs and it for sure gives you a good way to study. When your not busy and your bored you can just go right to Zutobi and take extra lessons or finish the lessons they ask you too! Helps keep you on track and on date with homework from them. I am a teen from this drivers school, I started in September and I finished all 6 drives within 4 months. I stayed on track and they were right there when I needed them! You can always ask questions when you are confused they are an answer away! I am walking evidence that you can do this! This is the drives ed to pick for your teen, especially with the class times! Really works with timing and school wise and yes it does go until 6 around dinner time but they don't mind for kids to come in and have snacks if they're hungry, they do provide as well! I am currently  At the school in Kent upgrading my class B to class A. I am having issues with a…read morecouple different subjects that I need to address.  I have driven class B passenger 45 ft coaches for 3 years in Alaska and instructed for 1 winter for a very popular tourism company. The pre trip inspection with Hamad went well. He is a good instructor that cares. he is the only reason why this place gets 1 star and not 0! The secretary Doinia and the other girl seem nice. The backing coach I have a hard time understanding and he is always angry and yells at students frequently. He spends 95% of his time on the phone. The course is too small, filled with potholes, uneven,  and cones not set up properly with no measurements at all.  Half the vehicles have mechanical issues like air leaks.  I bring these issues up and they dismiss it and then that vehicle breaks down a few days later and they find out that it was the problem that I stated earlier. The syllabus isn't followed, after in cab, you're supposed to be able to back. That's not followed. On my sign in, I'm supposed to do city as well as backing. That's not followed. I bring all these issues up, I'm ignored and they pretend to be busy and hide in the office.  Signing up for backing is first come first serve every morning which is terrible for those who show up later. I'm promised two 30 minute sessions and I never get that not even once.  I can't even city drive even though they are separate skills and with my 2 week class schedule,  I will never get that completed.  Today I was approved to go city driving because of my past experience and the fact that I am not able to get the lessons I paid for in the time that day set me up for which is 2 weeks. But then the worst thing you can ever imagine happened That stops all instruction: ITS RAINING, IN SEATTLE! Everyone has to stop driving and there is no one backing because it's raining. So what does the management go do? They go into the mechanic shop and start making a huge meal with chicken and lots of other Russian delicacies Because they think it's too dangerous to drive-in the rain. I feel like I am not set up for success at your Kent school and I hope to be heard.  If you are looking for a school to get your CDL, Avoid the Kent school at all costs. Justin Fox

Trigger warning: inappropriate touch involving children…read more We ultimately decided to withdraw our child due to ongoing concerns with communication, consistency, classroom structure, and how sensitive situations involving children were handled. One of our biggest concerns was learning after the fact that inappropriate boundary related behavior had reportedly been occurring between children at the school. Administration disclosed this to us after incident with our child and stated it's been happening in the school but quickly minimized it as something that was "what difference would it have made if I told you before hand because it didn't not involve your child". Parents were not proactively informed that this had become an ongoing issue, which meant families were not given the opportunity to reinforce conversations about appropriate and inappropriate touch at home. I even gave them examples of how a close friends of mine school handled it when it was happening at their child's school. Our child later disclosed that another child had inappropriately touched them. We requested an incident report and expected the situation to be handled objectively, professionally, and with appropriate communication. We wanted it documented and our child moved out of that class. They were very hesitant on documenting it and dismissing the report before even investigating it. Even with it happening in the school before my child disclosed. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled left us questioning whether it was impartial. This was especially concerning because we had previously received multiple reports of the same child hurting our child. There were also multiple occasions when our child did not want to attend school because of this child; something we had communicated to the school before we understood the full reason behind it. We also experienced ongoing staffing and classroom concerns. Teachers were frequently absent, children were regularly moved between classrooms, and the overall structure and consistency declined significantly. We genuinely believed in the program and even referred two families before the significant staffing changes. In our experience, things noticeably declined after administrator Hailey left. Another concern arose when we received our child's belongings after withdrawing them. We were told the school's policy was to clean and sanitize water bottles daily. Our child had only attended one day that week, yet the water bottle was returned in visibly poor condition and was missing the internal straw, making it unusable. We contacted the school about this and were disappointed by what we received back. There were teachers who genuinely cared for our child, and we are very grateful for those relationships. Miss Tiona, Miss Kyla, and Leianna were wonderful to our family and our child. Ultimately, the combination of poor communication, lack of consistency, staffing changes, and our concerns about how sensitive situations were handled caused us to lose trust in the program. For those reasons, we would not recommend this school.
