I had an incredible time learning to shoot for the first time ever with the help of Kuchman Tactical. Kelly is very good at teaching and is not afraid to adjust the pacing to your personal needs. I walked in with almost zero knowledge of guns let alone how they functioned even at the most basic level. With this in mind I ended up leaving roughly 2.5 hrs later with a fantastic base knowledge of guns in general and an above average handle on how pistols are to be handled and cared for especially for someone as new as me to the world of guns. Kelly was great. My older son and I took his class last year, and this year I did the same with my younger son who just turned 18. Both experiences were great, but I must admit his class has even gotten better. His detailed instruction was even more precise with additional information, and his step by step shooting process (sights, wall, pressure) really helped my accuracy and comfort level. My son went from never firing a gun to very impressive results in no time. By the way, his target results looked much better than mine. Found Kuchman Tactical when researching a firearms training course. I wanted a comprehensive understanding of using my new gun... from the ground up. I definitely made the right choice! I had a private lesson with James and he was so patient and wonderful with me! I have never held a gun in my life, so he spent time going through the mechanics of the gun, care instructions, SAFETY, ETIQUETTE and finally.....time at the range. For any new comers like me, invest the time and money and do it right! Came in for my friends bday. And we were all pretty inexperienced we had shot a couple times before but it was such a great experience to have Kelly there with us to show us the basics, showed us how guns work and how to take them apart and put them back together and clean them.
