A very cordial staff member came outside and invited us into the lobby to await our tour time. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. However, there were parts of the tour where background noise made it difficult to hear her. I would recommend anyone with any hearing impairment stay close to the guide to ensure you can hear the narration. Overall, we really enjoyed the tour and would love to revisit for one of the "ghost tours" on offer.

Her very first words were, "Why are you here?" -- no greeting, no courtesy, just instant hostility. We were only there to take a quick photo of the outside and look at the grounds, as we were considering renting the venue for a wedding. We're from out of town and were in the area just for the weekend, but she immediately accused us of trespassing instead of simply asking what we needed. To make things worse, she blocked the driveway so we couldn't turn around properly, forcing us to back through the grass rather than letting us move forward a couple of feet to the wider part of the drive. I'm also quite sure her behavior was influenced by my alternative haircut and color, which made the experience feel even more judgmental and discriminatory. We will never come back here or recommend this place to anyone.

Honestly the tour was not particularly long since you're on their preset schedule being driven around and if you have a chance Carlsbad at the other end of the country is way more impressive, but this is still a cool cave and would be tempted to stop by again if I were to pass by the area. Looking at the other comments, there may be other caves/caverns near by to visit, but still they are all unique in their own way.

I see birthday parties; I see families, couples, people walking their dogs; I see LARPers (look it up); I see potlucks; I see high school science projects; I see track teams; I see lone runners. This is a great place to see the Springfield community at their happiest and most relaxed. Not to mention it offers an impressive amount of amenities: a few tennis courts, a full playground, BBQ pits, a sprinking of permament art installations, and a very nice, covered communal area. This is a very old park, and the practicality of it paired with all the old stone work and giant Oak trees makes for a unique place to stop and unwind alone or with your favorite people/pets. A few other reasons why Phelps rocks: it's in a gorgeous, well-established neighborhood full of interesting and well-maintaned forever homes and it's right next to the beloved art museum. It also has a righteously awesome butterfly garden (you'll see it if you look in the direction of the museum from the park itself), and walking through it in the summer is legitimately like walking in a dream. It's quite lovely. One word of advice I can provide is that this park is also historically a not-so-good place to visit after nightfall, as most Springfield parks are. Get your recreational fix in before sunset and call it a day, unless you're with a group.

There is a concrete pad that fits dozens of people for the event. It was really perfect and I absolutely enjoyed myself and the Yoga. As for the rest of the park, there's a lot of room to run around and have fun for both kids and dogs, there are tennis courts and picnic spots, and you just really can't go wrong with an art museum bordering one side.

Fun Acre of course! :) Today, my boyfriend, Anthony H and I went to Fun Acres with my 2 nieces and nephew. Wow, we had so much fun. I couldn't believe it was still possible to entertain a group of 5 for a couple hours for under 15$! We play 8 holes of putt-putt and then after the miniature golf, checked out the batting cages. The kids said it was the best part of the day! They didn't even notice that the facility is worn down and not as grand as others might be. For such a great price, I didn't either. The boy behind the counter is nice and will supply you with endless quarters for the cages. The only require 0.25 per each round... what a deal! We'll definitely be back. See ya there!

Cryotherapy, warming bed (I don't know the technical term), relaxation area, red light therapy, brain tapping, body sculpting... all the very latest equipment. I can't even believe this is available in Springfield.! Seriously... your physical, mental, and even emotional well-being can find a huge boost with a visit here.
