It's a fact my feet are so wide that I normally get my sneakers in the men's section at Academy because the women's wide with shoes are just not wide enough. For some reason they give them in more room in the tow box I guess because their toes are bigger? LOL! I found so many cute shoes and all were buy one get one half off. The clearance section also had an abundance of options so I walked out with three gorgeous new pair of athletic shoes and I couldn't be happier with the value and the selection. Customer service was also top-notch and the cashier let me know by signing up for emails I would get an additional 10% off!! Bonus!! I also will give customer service bonus points because there was a sign on the front door saying that the restroom was out of order. I mentioned to the girl that greeted me when I walked in that that was a bummer because I kind of needed to go and she took me back to the employee restroom. How kind!

I am in my fifties and had an suv parked outside their front door, so I am not exactly the robber looking type but for whatever reason I felt like I was being looked at as a potential criminal. I did find a few pairs of shoes I liked but I was pretty turned off if the thought of going back here in the future.

This came to a saddening surprise when I pulled up with tennis balls and rackets to find just a pickle ball court.
