Incorrect information recorded after episode about my UNSPECIFIED Behavior and not informed of possible deferral from denying care, yet the technician made it clear that his staff would be reprimanded if he didn't take my blood pressure, to which i obliged politely, twice due to an Incorrect procedure by the staff member. Little concern for the patient and only for staff-- double standard and bias by manager on duty...told to not talk to staff about the staff member lying on record. Punished for false reasons. My husband came with me to "interp" for me in case I did not understand the people there. I wasn't able to lip read them so my husband interpretation for me until it was time to ask me questions in tiny room. My husband tried to explain that he was needed since I was not able to lip read the lady or the other lady. They said no. I asked if they would write down questions and I can answer. Strangely, they said no. I said why not? They said sorry but no. You will not be able to donate. I said this wasn't right, this is violation of my rights. So I sat down and waited for my husband's turn. While waiting, I was given a number to call. Hopefully this kind of strange incident doesn't happen again.
