I have been using Freedom Plumbing ever since I bought my home in Lexington for about two years now. One Saturday morning, we were about to leave for a weekend trip when we ran into a plumbing issue that needed to be addressed before we left. I called about 4-5 different places (I was new to the area) hoping that someone would be able to come out quickly on a Saturday morning so that our trip wouldn't be cut short. Out of all the places I called, Freedom Plumbing responded the quickest and we were on our way to our weekend vacation within just a couple of hours. Not only were they quick, but also courteous, professional, and reasonably priced. I have relied on them ever since for repairs to a leaking faucet, a water pressure regulator install, and most recently a garbage disposal replacement. Every time they have been consistent with their excellent service. James is always quick to respond and very organized with the scheduling, and Daniel (who has been the technician that has come out to each job) is always very clean, professional, prompt, friendly, and courteous. There are still good people in this world! Yesterday the water line in my front yard broke. I dug a hole, cut the bad piece out and attempted the repair myself... twice actually. The first attempt still had a small drip and the second fell apart and didn't work at all. This morning I was still without water and my 14 year old son wouldn't go to school without a shower so I called Freedom and spoke with James who said he was booked until the afternoon. I told him what I tried to do and he gave me advice how to properly do the repair. He also said to call back if I had any other questions, which I did! So, no one ever calls a plumber with good news. I had a toilet that would not stop running, and a shut off valve that was leaking. I looked online for a nearby plumber who could come out ASAP. I tried Yelp so I could read some reviews. I found Freedom Plumbing and called in a frantic state. About two hours later (I was able to stop the flow of water temporarily) I had a toilet that no longer ran nor flooded the floor. I have made a follow up appointment to have other work done. I am so relieved that I called this company. I got a quick lesson in shutting off the water to the house, the worl was checked and double checked, and I felt that all of my concerns were addressed. I discovered a leaking water supply line under my house on Sunday morning. Called the phone number for this business based on positive reviews that I saw on Yelp. The tech arrived at my house in a little more than an hour. Great response IMO for a Sunday. He had my leak repaired quickly. I had expected much difficulty getting this repair done on a Sunday much less very quickly. Price was reasonable too. Freedom Plumbing Found a sewer drain clog that City Of Columbia could not eliminate. They were responsive, worked hard, and finally blew out a giant clog that completely freed the plumbing in our townhouse. We were grateful for their quick response.
