Two of the appointments were made with short notice. Perhaps it was because of this, the staff seemed incredibly disorganized and the place felt chaotic. Bottom line my cat was not really looked at throughly and by this past Saturday was extremely sick. We tried calling for help but did not get a call back. We had no choice but to take him to the ER on Tropicana in Vegas. Not only did the ER Doctor question some of the things that were done at Animal Care Center, but even one of the Doctors there at that hospital in Pahrump was questioning decisions made by her colleague. If your pet is healthy and young and just needs routine visits and blood work, you might be okay going to the Animal Care Center. However, if your pet has major health issues and needs focused and experienced vets you should probably look elsewhere. We no longer have confidence in Animal Care Center of Pahrump. To make a long story short, my dog cannot take liquid medication, and I clearly informed the doctor of this. Despite that, I was prescribed liquid meds. Since the medication is non-returnable, I attempted to give it to my dog, but it did not work at all. I contacted your office to explain the situation and request the medication in pill form. I also asked that the correct medication be provided at your expense, as this was clearly an error. Not only was the mistake not acknowledged, but I was told that because I purchased the original medication at Walmart, you could not provide a replacement at no charge. This is not about the cost, but the principle. This Medication is not expensive, but more importantly, accountability matters. In addition, the delay in communication has been very frustrating. It took over a week to receive blood test results, and four days just to get a response regarding the replacement medication. This kind of delay is concerning when it comes to a pet's health. This clinic used to be much better in every way. I have always appreciated Lulu's friendly customer service, but unfortunately, this experience has changed my perception. It certainly does not reflect how loyal customers should be treated. At this point, I will be changing my dog's veterinarian. The lack of timely response and accountability gives the impression that patient care is not being prioritized. I am very disappointed.

She just sits there on her behind and just stares at you with no care in the world. she needs to be trained or let go immediately! I stopped by on Tuesday because my French bull dog had a seizure/ anxiety attack to the point he is not using his back legs, he's not eating and has had any bowl movements and pees on himself. he was going into shock and this extremely rude unprofessional lady did not care or try to help or make the situation calm. my dog was going into shock on the floor at this veterinary clinic and she had the nerve to tell me to go get wet napkins myself. not only that I brought in all paper work of my dogs history since we are new clients and she did not bother to even take a look, check us in or add us in the system for future appts. All his records were clear as day on the paper and she didn't want to look at them but had the nerve to tell me with an attitude that my dogs meds are not on the paper and she don't know what she's looking at. If she would've got up off her butt and moved her fingers to look she'd see It on the front page clear as day. I went in an as an emergency and had the worse experience I made that very clear to her. She also tried to intimidate me by staring at me like I was suppose to be scared so I stared right back at her cause wtf is that in a place of business!!!!There was also another older lady as well with glasses that did absolutely nothing to calm the situation down then had the nerve to ask the ride lady sitting on the chair is she was okay. And here's a kicker the extremely rude lady has the audacity to tell me to go to vegas cause their busy. first that is a hour & 30 min drive my dog is going into shock he would've never made it and it's 105 outside are you freaking kidding me! Short staff or not this is unacceptable SMH terrible I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and I highly recommended retraining or replacing. inexcusable, disrespectful, lack of urgency, disgraceful, lack of understanding, lack of empathy. I'm beyond pissed and this needs to be addressed ASAP! id love to speaking with the doctor that owns the place of business and the front manger in charge! I was allowed to view the facility beforehand and was impressed with the setting and cleanliness. The care and comfort for our boys. They have never stayed overnight in boarding before and my Yorkie and I had NEVER been apart before, so I was a little nervous but the staff was wonderful in answering my questions and even sent me a picture of my babies at my request. We adopted a tiny Yorkshire Terrier. We brought our small Cavalier in to meet with her and everything seemed ok so we took the new Yorkie home. She was a delightful little dog as it came from an older person who had passed away. We were told the dog was 2 different ages because they don't seem to keep good records but that didn't matter to us. They told us she wasn't potty trained, but she absolutely was. My husband especially attached to her very quickly. About the third day, we noticed that she was being aggressive about her food which is something we can deal with. We took her to our vet and started shots for her just to make sure she was covered. She was also added to our pet insurance. We purchased her a nice harness and leash. We put her on Dr Marty's food which she went bonkers for. Right around the fifth day, we noticed that she was attacking our Cavalier. She bit her on four occasions and on the last time we decided that we could not have her beating up on our Cavi. We decided that she needed to be returned. When we arrived at the shelter, they took the dog and I asked the gentlemen at the desk to keep the money on file and we will try again with a different dog. They agreed. We also said that we would like to donate $100 towards the adoption of the Yorkie so she could find a home quickly since she was such a sweet friendly animal with humans. I spoke with Pat later on the phone and she had no issues refunding the $175 balance. That was weeks ago. No money has ever been sent to us. Our Son gifted us with another Cavalier puppy so we won't be needing another dog. I explained that to Pat and still no money has arrived. We have resigned ourselves to the fact we will never see any money. We had donated food purchased through Amazon prior to help the shelter out. We would have been continued supporters but with the refund not being returned, we have decided never to recommend or deal with this shelter ever again. This is extremely sad.
