Being that this was my first attempt at doing a complete refinance completely on line, I could not have had two better people to walk me through all the information pages and how to complete the transactions on line.....especially Martin. On the phone --- again on the phone not face to face, I received a sense of integrity which in turn became trust and assurance from me towards Jack. I called around several different companies for a refinance mortgage on my home. I had decided to just use the current company I was with since everyone was about the same interest rate, just different closing costs. I received a call from Loan Depot and I told Michael on the phone I think I have already decided on a company for my refinance. He told me it doesn't hurt to have him quote me one more time and I am so glad I did! Wow! not only did he beat the current interest rate, he was also able to save me thousands in closing costs. Refinance rates are as good as they get right now so I started shopping around to see who could get the best rate. Loan specialist Livia is as good as they get. She is positive, a workhorse, and so helpful. She took the time to understand my refinance needs and worked quickly to exceed every expectation. She negotiated with management to beat every other lender and save me as much money as possible. She was also helpful in answering all of my questions and concerns. I can honestly say that I understand the difference between an interest rate and the APR and why each is important. I spoke with Gianna on Monday 12/6. I gave her all my info inc ss#. After getting all my info she said she would run everything and call me back. At 5:30 I called her back, questioning she was supposed to call me back. She apologized that she got caught up on a call & will call mne back shortly. which she never did. I tried to call her but no answer. I was extremely frustrated with her totally unprofessional attitude! At least have the decency to return the call and discuss any issues. Someone like this does not belong dealing with people's emotions & life savings. I will tell friends and family not to deal with Gianna Tony or CrossCountryMortgage. I had considered Cardinal for a mortgage the last time I refinanced a mortgage, and thought they were very competitive but selected a different lender. This time around, I found them to offer the most competitive product for my needs. The broker, Kevin, was low key, informative and a pleasure to work with. We have not closed on our refinance yet but don't expect any problems. Cardinal's system for downloading documents was user friendly and made the process easy. Refinancing with Quicken has been the fastest process I've ever seen since I have been through this process several times. I think their process is great, fast and accurate because they are updating me continuously and since their are doing it electronically I can review and understand each phase of their progress as often as it takes and it keeps me informed much more than just doing it in an office. I started a re-fi with another lender which happened to be declined. Then CrossCounty came along and treated we such respect and went ahead and had them draw up some numbers. Unfortunately, their fees were too high for me to accept Greg Bleyl's was exceptional to work with. He was profession above all, but really tried to get to the root of my needs and requirements.
