For example: the first time I used their services I was told about one price (what I will be charged for process of service), of which I told them that, "I don't need this 'rushed' or nothing like that." They still served the papers and charged me the regular amount plus the rush fee. I let that slick business move slide thinking that this business cant possibly be that bad after reading all of these "good reviews" but to be sure I'm going to set up a test. Little did they know I played dumb the entire process to see how they really operate and I am telling you that if your a common person looking to have paper work served on people this company will take advantage of you. So, I already had inside information on the person I wanted served right but wanted to employed Torri for a second time to see if they'd follow the rules of service. Second time I employed them I made it very specific that there was a dead line to meet and if you don't make that dead line I don't want your services. Guess what happened? Not only did they miss the dead line and I had to hire another company to do the work in another state but weeks later they still charged me full price for work that they did not even do! They didn't even call me to tell me that they didn't make service or meet the dead line. There was no communication from them even after they randomly charged me for without my authorization. Now I could file an action against them but its not worth the time or money I'd spend bringing the action so I called them demanding my money back b/c for one I didn't give them my credit card information a second time, or authorize a payment and they lied about keeping a record of my bank info. Torri tried to give me some sob story about how hard her people work to serve some papers, even after I told her that the place she's sending her guys to is actually an attorney's house who specifically said to her servers that the person they are looking for is not a resident or lived there! IT WAS AN OPERATIONAL STING to see if this business is legitimate and I am here to tell you they ARE NOT. You will be over charged. They will hold onto your personal information and require you to give them your bank information. You will be charged without authorizing any payment. If you use them once they retain your credit / debit card information also. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! THIS IS YOUR WARNING.

Hired this company to serve a summons on a Monday. Spoke to Billy on the phone. Send him a Paypal…read morepayment and then send him two emails with a copy of the summons. Called them the following Monday and they tell me that my email was in their spam folder (Why does your business have email folders that you're not checking?) And now that they see it, they will attempt service. The NEXT day received an email back that they received my request and payment. (Over a week has passed already.) Two days after I received the email I send them another email asking them if an attempt has been made (this is 11 days after hiring them). I don't get a reply. The day after this, I called them on the phone and Billy answered the phone. I asked him for the status and he told me he doesn't know and will call me back shortly. Doesn't return my phone call. 15 days after they have been hired, I request a refund from paypal. I then hired and paid another company. PayPal refunds my money and on the same day I get an email from Billy telling me that they're in fact was a successful attempt to serve the papers. So, I send them their payment back in an attempt to be as Fair as possible and cancel the service with the other company. I receive an email back telling me that they returned my money AGAIN, because once I have put a stop on the order, they do not proceed. I'm certain this is just some cockamamie nonsense he made up on the spot because I called him out on his incompetence. So, not only did they not even try, but they only told me they tried after I have pulled my money back. And not only did they not succeed, but by telling me that there was a successful attempt, they prevented another company from succeeding as well. Why would you tell me there was a successful attempt unless you wanted to get paid? I don't understand why you would tell me that there was a successful attempt after I've taken my money back if there is nothing you're willing to do for me with that successful attempt and payment. If I didn't know better, I would say this guy is intentionally wasting my time. And he's probably going to do the same with your time. I tried to be as fair and as patient as I can be with these people. At one point, I even told him that it was 2 weeks since they receive payment and Billy had the nerve the correct me and tell me, "yeah, but we only saw it a week ago."...as if that's somehow my problem. With as easy and as fair as I tried to be, I got nothing but mouth I'm return. Then he sends me an email telling me that he's been doing this for 38 years. Well, if you can't serve your purpose within 2 weeks after being hired, it doesn't matter if you've been doing this for 100 years! Hire these people and the word "incompetent" will echo in your head for days. Be ready to receive no service, but all the excuses. And don't expect any kind of customer service. You won't get it.

He was very helpful, friendly, and great at walking us through the paperwork and answering any questions we had. They had our paperwork scanned and sent to us very promptly. The representation itself was fine, but I did feel that there was unneeded back-and-forth at times, with each message being billed at a rate of 6 minutes, it all adds up. The tipping point was when I emailed asking if we could reach out to the other party's representation and also asked if there were any strategies to move toward a resolution. I received a response stating "It is good to hear from you. It probably makes sense for you to reach out to [other party regarding my question] and the need to reach a resolution. If you are able to reach an agreement, then we can help you to memorialize its terms." I was surprised when I was charged for this, and when I asked if I was being charged, I was ignored. Finally, when I asked to end my relationship with the firm and requested a refund of my retainer, the amount billed for the aforementioned email response was deducted. While it was only ~$40, my question was not even answered. I was offered a 15 minute consultation at a later time, but since I'm no longer a client, asked if that was something I would even be able to use. A week later and I have not received a response. I would be cautious of this firm if your situation is not cut and dry and to whom you are assigned. In my experience, Soo Keithley is fantastic, but others may leave you wanting for more.

A lot of the other posters' negative experiences with Soo and her firm are very familiar and similar to my own. In my opinion, professionalism is a huge issue with this firm. Ultimately and I cannot emphasize this enough -- this firm became just as, if not more, stressful to deal with than the high conflict divorce I was embroiled in. And that is not a feeling you want with your attorney who is supposed to advocate for your interests.
