Friday nights seem to be the young kids hangout spot. There are cars and kids everywhere; even blocking the gas pumps. I usually get the four piece dark chicken; and sometimes add the soft pretzel if it's not too late (low carbs at night). The chicken was seasoned well and had the right amount of crunch. The potato wedge was a bit soft. I put it in my air fryer for 10 minutes to make it crispy. The workers at the hot bar are awesome. If there is an issue, they'll let you know. They have allowed substitution when they were out of what I ordered. The inside of the store is kept neat. I also want to highlight that Royal Farms has the lowest gas in the area. I was surprised to discover that their gas was 20 cent per gallon less than other nearby gas stations. I will now plan my monthly visit to include my tank fill up too.

First of all, there are only eight hoses, two islands with two pumps each, both double-sided. That might not be a bad thing, since I've rarely seen a queue for fuel (I have seen it, though). The worse issue is how close together they are. Most pumps have enough space for two forward-facing cars to be on the same side with room. Here, it's hard to pull up behind the rear of a car and have room for the pump to reach your own car. Very cramped. They pump quickly enough, so that's good. The security stickers they put on to show that their credit card machine hasn't been tampered with are always missing. So, should I be worried every time I pay with card? I'm not overly paranoid, but that doesn't set my mind at ease. The ground is always filthy, and there are big cracks and potholes in their pavement. It looks like it was yanked out of the ground somewhere else and dropped here. I will give them this, though; for MoCo (Montgomery County, for those not from MD), the prices aren't too shabby. It's about a 8-cent markup from my Wawa in the Gambrills area. That's really not too much, all things considered. I appreciate that they aren't (currently) gouging me like most MoCo gas stations. I only fuel up here if I have to, but it's not to much of a hardship. Maybe if I get inside one of these days, I will update my review. Still, it's a 7-Eleven, so you should have an expectation already. If the urge for a Slurpee overtakes me, at least I have a spot close by to slake that thirst.

But this time, I just drove in and hoped for the best. And you know what? I'm so glad I did. The new owner greeted me personally and reassured me they'd take good care of my vehicle. They put my car up on the lift, and--yep--my worst fears were confirmed: both rotors and pads needed replacing. But here's the thing--Eddie, the mechanic, not only fixed my brakes, he also took care of a tire that had a nail in it *free of charge.* Talk about going above and beyond. They treated me like a valued customer from the moment I walked in, and more importantly, they earned my *trust.* That's not easy to do these days, but Cloverly Citgo did it. While most service station attendants can be somewhat cold, the folks at Sunoco are pretty chatty and friendly. Also, they will let you know of any specials that the convenience store has. For instance, if you buy one bottle of soda, they'll let you know of any BOGO deals. My only annoyance with this Sunoco: The air machine takes quarters and cards, but the vacuum only takes quarters.

I get to the lot only to find all the pumps shut down. I don't know if it was because they were out of fuel or if there was an electronic malfunction that hindered the pumps from working. Next time I stopped here I just wanted to grab a drink and a pack of smokes. When I got in here I was able to get my drink, but they were out of my smokes. We used the car was on 08/14, and our vehicle was damaged, and they denied our claim after two weeks. Their response "Our client has reviewed the photos of the damage you submitted along with the video footage, which I also reviewed. There were no malfunctions or maintenance issues with this car wash, and they sent out a technician to inspect and found no issues". Apparently, these crooks sent a technician weeks later to review their car wash equipment. These deceivers are making things up to avoid paying for the damage. I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney Generals' office and the Better Business Bureau. I am hoping these cheaters are treated accordingly.
