I visit this Royal Farm once a month to utilize my Door Dash credit with pick up option to reduce fees. I find the day of the week you visit makes a difference. Friday nights seem to be the young kids hangout spot. There are cars and kids everywhere; even blocking the gas pumps. I usually get the four piece dark chicken; and sometimes add the soft pretzel if it's not too late (low carbs at night). The chicken was seasoned well and had the right amount of crunch. The potato wedge was a bit soft. I put it in my air fryer for 10 minutes to make it crispy. The workers at the hot bar are awesome. If there is an issue, they'll let you know. They have allowed substitution when they were out of what I ordered. The inside of the store is kept neat. I also want to highlight that Royal Farms has the lowest gas in the area. I was surprised to discover that their gas was 20 cent per gallon less than other nearby gas stations. I will now plan my monthly visit to include my tank fill up too. read more

One stop gas, snacks, and clean bathrooms are what this spot has to offer. This is my go to fuel spot...second only to Sam's or COSTCO. But as far as traditional non-membership gas stations go, Royal Farms is it. On top of that, the chicken tenders and potato wedges (with gravy) are notable must grabs! The service is always positive and the station offers an open and airy feel. No place for a date. The ambiance doesn't lend itself to date night. However, if you are traveling and need a quick stop for hungry kids that need to stretch their legs, try Royal Farms. The food choices will pleasantly surprise you. I did stop for a fill-up on gas, so that went well. I went inside to grab some chicken wings because I hadn't eaten all day and needed something to hold me over. I noticed there was new staff behind the counter and after what I bought, I should've got back into my car and ate at home. Once I arrived home, I separated the drum from the flat and saw pinkish colored meat and what appeared to be other signs of the chicken not being cooked long enough. I was thoroughly disgusted! This is a smaller Royal Farms with all self-checkout kiosks and no full-service checkouts. Sometimes it's nice to have both. You can get all kinds of chicken at the chicken counter, which is somewhat of a known thing. I have yet to try their famous chicken sandwiches. I bought a coffee mug and used my Royal Farms rewards. The teenage employee behind the counter was helpful as I was having trouble entering my account number, but he wasn't wearing his mask right. Nose exposed. The interior was very clean and the aisles were at angles and very cramped. Every single shelf was backlit with LED lights, which seemed a bit extreme, even for me, and I love LED lights! read more

A new Royal Farms that we can appreciate. This location is one of the closest locations for miles. There was such a hype over the opening, well not so much the opening itself but the chicken. Thankfully the rushed has slowed down some and you can get in and out with your things in no time. The other cool factor is you are able to self check out your gas! Super convenient if you need to grab an item and gas and don't want to wait in line. There are plenty of gas pumps and I haven't seen them run out of gas as of yet. Most of the royal farms locations are clean, quick and with the reward card, the gas prices are competitive. The chicken can be a hit or miss. Like any fried chicken place, when it's hot and fresh, it cannot be beat. One time I got the 10 chicken and it was so good, I had to eat the whole thing while it was hot and juicy. It tasted so good, I could have eaten another 10. So the next time, I went to the same location around the same time and this time, the chicken was dried out. I guess it sat around for a bit. I could only eat a couple of piece of that. And the chicken is not that cheap but when it is right, it is worth every penny. When it's not, well, keep your money. So it's 12/14/19 and it was about 530pm. So this was the first time that I had to wait 30 mins for chicken. There were 4 or 5 other people waiting as well. The three stars are for the great location, self checkout, and well-stocked shelves during a time when nearby wa-wa's and others never have full drink inventory. I've never waited in a line here, the self checkout stations guarantee fast service, I love it and wish every store had them! I can't give them five stars however since their chicken is consistently soggy and their French fries stale. I've given this location multiple chances to serve me edible food, and so far they haven't failed to let me down. As far as gas station things go however, it's great. read more

Great gas prices. Delicious food. Pros: Milkshake machine is the best Cons: The pickup area is confusing. I always buy a wrap and a box of chicken. You have to pick the wrap up on the right of the counter and the chicken on the left. Then you only have one receipt to put in the basket. One time my box was ready before my wrap and I put my receipt in the basket (as I was told). When it was time to pick up the wrap, they asked for my receipt and I didn't have it no more. The wait around rush hour is long. Solution: They should combine all of the items behind the counter, like a normal restaurant does, then give them all to you at once. A constant stop for me for those 2am-4am munchies. The staff is very friendly and the food is always fresh. I usually order sliders and mashed potatoes and they're always delicious. Came on 1/26/2020 at 3:30am. I asked the two people behind the counter with their backs turned if they have chicken noodle soup. The girl keeps talking then turns around and tells me yes. I order them pay and take my soup then leave. When I got home a few minutes away, I opened the soup and it was stone cold. The label says it was prepped on 1/25/2020 at 1:43 pm. This first time I came to this royal farms when it opened my experience was good. I just went maybe 10 minutes ago and I must say the customer experience since opening has dropped dramatically. The employees seem like they don't want to be there. I placed my order and waited but an employee just walked up and placed his order and got his food before me.... I ordered 3 meals (only received 2) and I got tricked because they put all the biscuits in a third box which I thought was my third meal... when attempting to call the phone doesn't even ring and I can't speak to management to reconcile this issue. This Royal Farms was nice when it first opened however lately the current management has not been on top of keeping the store (floors) clean or sanitary. Today I stopped by to buy chicken and the floors and drinks station were flifty. It's a deterrent when considering to buy food from a store that's not clean on first impression. Image what it may look like where the food is prepared. I asked for the manager however the older gentlemen behind the chicken counter seemed to be clueless and didn't offer to get him or her. Came here with a half tank of gas. My gas tank holds 17 gallons FYI. I added almost 9 gallons of gas to my tank at pump 4 and when the pump stopped my tank only went up to 3/4 tank. I noticed the pump was moving slow but ive had that occur at other stations so didn't think anything of it. Needless to say I complained to an associate and the GM and they did nothing. Didn't check the pump, didn't put an out of order sign nothing. I was told my float must be stuck. Never in my 20 yrs of pumping gas has that happened and I currently drive a brand new car. So that excuse didn't fly. But whatever he told me go to royalfarms.com and to call the state at the Dept of weights and Measures.. what that will do for me idk. But customers beware of those low gas prices. That's how I got fooled. They are going to make up the money by ripping you off!! And to add insult to injury I now smell like old chicken grease.
