They came out was at my house for 45 minutes on a Sunday morning…read moregranted I knew that calling out on the weekend would be a little bit more for the service call but these Jokers charge me $600 for a service call and all they did was put a one-by-one square patch on my roof and was up there for no more than 45 minutes total and charge me $600 freaking dollars. And I told them I had insurance the insurance will be taken care of it for some reason the insurance never paid it so they turn me over to a bill collection agency over this $600 finally my insurance paid and we had a settlement payment and then they overcharged me on the settlement payment. I am seriously considering taking into court especially for what some of the things that the man said to me on the phone accused me of insurance fraud because I offered a settlement instead of the full amount. If they want to argue about it with someone who has been in the roofing and insurance business for over 10 years with my roofing business back home we can take these claims to subrogation and court and have engineers take a look at all these "wind damaged" shingles. Try me. Trust me 40-56 mph winds will not do these types of damages where your shingle is rated for 50-60 mph winds and architectural shingles rated for 75+mph winds Im from Texas and have been in the area visiting and have friends here that have told me to take a look at their roofs after these guys from American Home Tech have inspected their roofs. These guys can't even look at me in the face when I'm talking about it on the roof. One of the guys admitted to me and stated that's why he wants to become an adjuster and do right instead of wrong because of their "standards". These are man made creased back shingles!! If they are committing damages to your roof why would you trust them? These contractors are salesman at the end of the day and if theres no work of course they're going to create damage and say your roof is completely damaged because they know you won't get on the roof! Don't be such a fool! I will be buying more chalk because I didn't expect to see this. I will be posting more photos of fraud damages once I inspect what they are claiming "wind damage" on my other friend's homes. And from what I've seen they are all the same just on different roofs. I found this company after consulting Home Advisor and I could not be happier. Tom and CJ were due…read moreat 9:30 and they pulled in my driveway at 9:29. They cleaned my chimney, repaired a crack on the fireplace insert, vacuumed the inside of the fireplace and even wiped the glass clean. Tom put down a throw so that nothing got on my carpet and the throw was carefully folded up so not one speck of soot was in my house. They also repaired a plumbing boot on the roof and repaired some trim. This was also done carefully and quickly. I will definitely use them again because they did a great job but they also did a few extra things that I appreciated. I was bringing in the garbage can and CJ grabbed the other one and brought it in. They saw where I found the extra paint and put it away when they finished. Finally, one of dogs had taken some of the stuffing out of a toy and they picked it up as they were cleaning up from the fireplace work. I will definitely use them again!
