Self-control has officially left the building. So far we've sampled their fresh loaves, single-bite phyllo pastries, a non-baked single cheesecake pie, cinnamon rolls, kolache, and bread pudding with a side of caramel sauce All very delicious. And a small cultural note: for us Chicago Polish folks, kolache usually means a cookie. Here it leans more Danish-style. Different, but happily devoured. The service is genuinely friendly and more than willing to help us indulge our cravings. My friend, flying back to Chicago tomorrow, is packing two loaves in her suitcase. That's not casual bread. It is a small bakery and you can tell the bread is made there. They seem to run out pretty fast, so to get the best selection you will need to get there early. I stopped close to 4pm and they had a limited selection. The girl will bag the bread for you, you just have to point or tell her what you want. I did not like that she gave me what she reached instead of the one I told her I wanted. The bread is flavorful, fresh and it will satisfy your Mexican bread craving. Now that Mexican bread is not sweet like American pastries, so you won't find that flavor profile here. I like Mexican sweet bread, so it is perfect for me.

The shopping center has the Crumbl, Outback and Mattress Warehouse. Inside there are 2 ordering kiosks. They also have a digital board on the wall showing the orders they are working on, as well as your Crumbl status (bronze, silver, gold, etc.). It was busy the day I went in and the staff was busy filling orders and making cookies. I got a Key Lime Pie cookie for my friend as a little birthday treat. I also had a voucher for a free mini chocolate chip cookie, which was so cute and yummy. They have little individual sized boxes for the mini cookies. Big tip: Get the free app. You earn crumbs for free stuff over time. You get a free cookie on your birthday. And you can vote on special flavors for the 3rd Wednesday of the month - yesterday it was a Wedding Cake cookie. It's not on the menu, you have to use the app and know to ask for it. You can see any special flavors in the app on the actual location. Also, as your status increases, you can vote more often. Individual big cookies are $4.59 each or 3 mini cookies for $8.99. We were on our way to family in Ocala early in the morn when i knew it was time to stop for some coffee(the wife doesnt do wel without her java). I did a quick search for a spot, and saw a dunkin nearby. I exited the highway and headed that way. as I got closer I grinned. I had never been to the Villages. My gal didn't know what that was so as we pulled up and parked she said, "what town is this". I just played dumb. We walked into the Brownwood square and I had to tell her. She really didn't know much about the Villages so I filled her in. for my first impression it was great. The farmers market wrapped around the square and trickled out to the side streets some as well. They had the usual thing you would hope for like produce and pieces of art made by locals. But it had other things you dotn see often like some more quirky artisans, multiple flower and plant booths, empanadas, and the one that hooked me, a both that had all kind of mushrooms to eat. We swing by here about once a month for the farmers market, and enjoy it every time.
