Staff was phenomenal!! Very friendly and informative. Got to try unlimited wine samples for $6 or spirits for $2 each. They had 5 different slushies available and even their take on a margarita using bourbon. They also sell fresh fudge and cute souvenirs made from the Amish near by. Plenty of seating and live music some nights. Mondays are $5 margaritas and Wednesdays you get $1 off all tastings.

My overall opinion (for you who don't want to read a lengthy review :p ) - An excellent option for budget-conscious wine lovers looking to explore different varieties without spending a fortune. French Lick Winery offers an incredibly budget-friendly wine tasting experience that's hard to beat. At just $6 per person for an "unlimited wine selection" tasting, it's an exceptional value that allows you to sample around 15 different wines - a true bargain for wine enthusiasts. The service stands out as genuinely friendly, with staff who are knowledgeable and welcoming. However, the ambiance leaves something to be desired - the space feels sterile and utilitarian, not exactly a spot you'd want to linger in beyond the tasting itself. While they don't serve food, wine tasters with a sweet tooth will be delighted by their selection of delicious fudge. The tasting itself is the main attraction, offering a wide variety of wines to explore without breaking the bank. Value for money is the key selling point here. Where else can you taste 15 different wines for just $6? It's less about creating a romantic winery experience and more about providing an accessible, straightforward wine sampling opportunity.

They have wine tasting and distillery tasting they also have a restaurant inside, we waited for about 10 mins before getting a spot at the tasting bar but it was good, I don't remember the tasting price but for wine I remember it being fairly cheap and the distillery I think was $2 per sample of hard alcohols like whiskey I don't remember loving any of their wines but if your local to Indiana you can find some of their wines in the store

Spirits of French Lick is what I am reviewing. I called, per the website, for a Saturday tour and was given options for 12, 1, or 2. I opted for noon. Upon arrival, I was checked in and received basically a private tour, as it was only me on the distillery tour. My tour guide was knowledgeable and talkative. The tour last about an hour and went through the usual distillery tour items, mash bill, fermentation, bottling, Rick house, etc. It was informative of the history of the distillery (about 6 years old) and the products. The tasting was great. You get 5 tastes of your choice, but my guide provided me with some "extras," which were appreciated. All in all, this old warehouse looking place was a fun tour and tasting. Check it out!

They DON'T serve food here so I'm hoping I saved you a trip. But the Bartenders were great and very knowledgeable of the Wine and Spirits! We came during a $6 unlimited wine tasting special which was fantastic! They have some great wine and cocktails! Only thing about this place is that I was slightly misled thinking there would be food here? We had to leave during our tasting to get some food then comeback. I was looking forward to their "pizza" as I seen a lot of prior old mentions about how great their pizza was, but I believe they stopped pizza making so keep that in mind! Maybe bring back some pizza more people would love it!

If you are visiting French Lick Indiana then you must stop into the French Lick Winery. As we walked in, we were greeted with a question of if we are tasting or dining? We did both. As we were guided to a large wrap around bar a young lady greeted us with options to taste wine or spirits. We said both. She knew her information very well. The tastings were 10 wines for $8 and up to 4 spirits at $2 each. Wer even found a bottle in their gift shop of wine and bourbon that we tasted. We bought both. After the tastings we sat in their dining area. Which was not that impressive from a décor perspective but the place was open and clean. We ordered mozzarella sticks and mini crab cakes. (Only on the "secret" menu). ;) As you would guess, they were phenomenal. If you're looking for a break from the Casino or the dome head here and grab a signature cocktail ( the necromancer) and taste some wines and spirits and maybe some appetizers. We'll be back next time.

If you're a wine snob don't go for the wine or food. Go for the experience and the liquor and the frozen drinks. Pizza is good and salAd is delicious but you can skip the Mac and cheese. The staff is super helpful and friendly which helps the overall experience. Fun place and alternative to the resort

These people only understand sweet wines. The red wine that I bought was not drinkable.

It's what you should expect for a winery in French Lick Indiana. Pretty much everything is extremely sweet. It is cheap, so there's that.

Maria was very attentive. Family friendly place with a microbrewery feel. Great wines and bourbons. Especially the Crazy Cranberry wine.

Ask the Community - French Lick Winery

Why can I not find the percentage of alcohol anywhere for the Pretty in Pink wine! I love the wine but really need to know the alcohol percentage in it???? It is not on the bottle anywhere?

I can tell you from experience that is 10%. Vino shopper.com can give you a break down in the back of the bottle as well

Simply put, Huber's is a machine, a well-oiled machine…read more My wife grew up visiting Huber's several times a year for Christmas trees, pumpkins, fresh produce, and just about everything else the farm has to offer. When she moved me up here many years ago, one of the first places she took me was Huber's. We've been back countless times over the years, and it never disappoints. Our latest visit included my nephew, his new wife, my niece, and her 10-year-old son. My niece-in-law is from New York City and had never experienced life on a farm. (Last year, we took her to pet a horse for the first time!) So when she wanted to go peach and apple picking, Huber's was the obvious choice. Let's just say she and my 10-year-old great-nephew absolutely loved riding the trams and picking fresh fruit. My nephew and niece enjoyed themselves too, even though they both grew up on a farm in Georgia. My wife and I took a more relaxing approach, sampling some of Huber's excellent adult beverage offerings while enjoying the live band. It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon. All in all, Huber's once again lived up to its reputation as one of the best family destinations around. It offers something for everyone, whether you're looking for fresh produce, family activities, live music, or a great place to unwind. I normally end my reviews by saying, "I'll be back." With Huber's, it's never a question of if--only when. Halloween is just around the corner, and we'll be looking for pumpkins.

Also if you go to Hubert's YOU NEED TO REQUEST BRI SHE SO OUT GOING AND EXPLAINS EACH WINE! She is THE BEST! Hands down the best services at a winery I have ever had!!! The scenery is gorgeous! Hubert's winery is a hidden gem in Indiana! They cafe the food was amazing and the farmers market amazing There were only TWO things that WAS NOT so great! IT IS THEIR CHEESE AND ICE CREAM FACTORY!. I use to take my daughter there for the horseback riding and the petting zoo ! 15 plus years ago ONE OF HER FAVORITES WAS WALKING OVER TO THEIR CHEESE AND ICE CREAM FACTORY IT HAS CHANGED UNFORTUNATELY She loved watching through a glass window and see them making cheese and ice cream! That was one of her favorites their ice cream back then had more taste the ice cream they THEY HAVE NOW you can't taste any flavor in the ice cream ITS SO BLAND i bought the homemade peach ice cream it tasted like plain vanilla ice cream NO PEACH TASTE what so ever I swapped it out for salted Carmel I could not taste the salted Carmel at all I might as well just ordered vanilla. They also had more flavors back then! The quality of their ice cream has gone way down VERY LITTLE CHEESE SELECTION not a big fan of that change ! They need to bring back the cheese factory where we could see through the glass ! and MAKE THEIR ICE CREAM WITH FLAVOR I WOULD STILL GIVE IT 10 plus if I could!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE BRI ask for her when you if ever go and have a tasting!!! SHE IS AMAZING!!!
