What a gorgeous winery in southern Indiana! It's easy to find, has the friendliest of staff/owners, and delicious products! We visited on a beautiful Friday afternoon and enjoyed a complementary sampling of wines and slushees and I've got to say they were generous with their samples and the overall experience was more than enjoyable. I'm a sweet wine kinda gal and their award winning Biker's Black and Blue and Sunset Red were sweet and tasty. Their slushees are out of this world delicious. They had close to 20 different slushee flavors! My favorite was watermelon and peanut butter and jelly! They have a beautiful outdoor space with tables, rockers, and yard games. Wonderful winery. The building is fairly new. So everything looks wonderful. It's very retro inside. It has a lot of throw back items on the wall. Most of the decor is the same. You can try 8 wines for $10 and you get to keep the wine glass. It's wonderful because it lets you know what wine you want. If you buy 6 bottles you get 10% off. If buy 12 you get 15% off. The two nice lady's at the tasting were so nice. They taught us a little about the wines. So it made it easier to choose the type of wines we wanted to get. Also had us try the slushy wine. Which is Devine by the way. It's everything your mouth needs and then some. That's if you like to have slushees that are for adults. Lol I don't know much about wines until I drink a little. Then I'm a wine master lol. Okay not really. But I do like the sweet wines they offered. So I purchased half a case of assorted wines. This was a lovely stoping point. Next to a nice eatery/bar, it was a nice place to stop for a tasting AND had wine slushies. I'd not had these prior, so this was something new for me. A great selection of slushie flavors and could do a taste flight with them as well as the wines. I felt the overall flavors from dry to fruity favored sweet. Lovely all of them. The building... is beautiful, very well done! We pulled up with some friends who had been there before not knowing what to expect since it's Patoka and COVID-19 time... I was amazed, it's beautiful. We could only get wine and slushies to go, with no more than 10 people allowed in, due to COVID-19.. but no biggy. We grabbed a slushy each and a bottle of cab. I got the margarita slushy... and it was sour to say the least, but that's what I wanted since I didn't want something sweet. It was good, not sure I'd get it again, but great for a warm day. We haven't cracked the bottle of wine yet, but will in the coming week or so. Our neighbors love the catawba (sp?) as she loved sweet wine. Super fun spot to visit with a group of friends. Not too far from French Lick area (20 minutes or so) so it made for a great little detour from the downtown atmosphere. The place gets super busy on the weekends and if you have covid concerns, I'm not sure if this is your place to be as no one was wearing a mask, staff or customers. Wine slushees come in a fun bag and great for sipping with all this nice weather! All of the wines seemed to be fairly priced, if even a little cheaper than normal winery prices. There's a good amount of seating outside and they also cater events because a wedding was going on while we were there. We shared three different wines between a group of girls and we all were content with the choices. We tried the Gewürztraminer, PBRX and Catawaba. I have never seen so many wine slushy machines in my life! I was in heaven when I walked in and saw them! The flavors ranged from margarita to blue raspberry to sangria. I personally tried the blueberry pomegranate flavor, and it was delicious! The perfect drink for a hot summer day. They came it what looked like adult size Capri Sun pouches. So cute! The friends I brought with me had never been to a winery, but they all loved their drinks. The staff was friendly to our group, and they had rocking chairs and corn hole set up outside. Their bottles of wine were reasonably priced, and there was a large selection of fruit wines as well as a few drier wines to choose from. Attended a catered evening event here while attending a conference in French Lick. They did a great job with our larger group. The tables were set with a souvineer glass and we were given tastings table side. There was also a buffet of appetizers which was perfect for the event. The winery itself is beautiful inside and out, and from what I saw they have suites made up inside the silos to stay in. Good wine selection, I just wish they had a cabernet to try while we were here. It said on the list it is coming soon though! Servers were knowledgeable on the wines. Beautiful winery! I was here for a wedding reception, but had some time before the event started to explore the winery a little. Right away, we were intrigued by the wine slushies; there were so many flavors available to choose from! The woman working even explained that we could mix two flavors if we wanted. This was great, and the slushies were delicious! While there, we also did a wine tasting. This was very reasonably priced and an overall pleasant experience. There were so many outstanding wines that we tasted; it was very difficult to choose just one bottle to purchase! (because that's what we limited ourselves to; that's not the rule!) The Biker's Black and Blue was our final choice! This wine was a gold medal winner at the 2016 Indy International Wine Competition, and the winery is known for it! As for the reception hosted here, it was outstanding. The space was perfect for a smaller, more intimate wedding reception. I would highly recommend adding this to your list of reception venues to check out if you are in the market! I'll try not to knock them too much on their sweet wines, because that might be what some people prefer. When I first started drinking wine, that was my preference too. Things change and my palate graduated to dry red wines. You won't find dry reds here for awhile. The driest wine that they had was a reisling, if that tells you anything. The facility was big and gorgeous. There was a sitting area with a couch and fireplace. They even had wifi. They had a lot of Harley Davidson and wine themed souvenirs. I ended up skipping the $7 for 7 tastings option, and just going with a glass of wine. They let you keep the glass with either a tasting or a glass. Things are always subject to change, that's just what it was over the Forth of July weekend. I wouldn't go out of the way to visit again, or if I was in need of wifi again, I'd call ahead to see if there are any dry wine options available. read more

Holy wine slushy heaven!! I've never seen so many flavors of wine slushies available but I was in heaven. They come in a cool little adult Capri sun pack and are sealed for legal carry out so you can enjoy it at a campsite or cabin away from the winery. If you're looking for a fun girls day this is a great spot! You can even make a weekend out of it and there is lodging in Silos (Chip & Jo would be big fans) connected to the winery. There are a lot of options here from sweet to dry wine and everything in between. I prefer a little more dry wine usually and was able to find a couple good ones but Gewurztraminer was my favorite. We did a tasting on a Tuesday so it was 2 for 1. They offer discounts if you buy multiple bottles of wine and there are tons of other kitchen and clothing items for sale too.
