I saw a few posts raving about SeaZen in a travel group I'm in and it did not disappoint! This was by far the most reasonably priced boat experience I saw, and we had such a great time. The boat was really easy to find in the Marina in Beaulieu-sur-Mer (we took an Uber from Nice but you can take a train as well)- they provide clear directions to the boat at booking which came in handy. We met our captain and guide Guillaume who was amazing. We booked the 2 hr trip and he gave us some options of what we wanted to see. He took us up the coast around Saint Jean Cap Ferrat we were able to get pretty close and we were able to see all the stunning villas and views up close. He pointed out and share some really fun information about all of them. Then we anchored for about 30 minute where we were able to jump off the boat and swim in the stunning blue water. He even had pool noodles and goggles onboard for us to use. After swimming we took a ride around some of the insanely large and expensive yachts out on the water. We were even able to take turns driving the boat. The boat itself is super cool. It is solar powered and completely silent, which was really relaxing and made talking and listening to him point things out so much easier. The deck of the boat was cork so it was not slippery at all after swimming and the whole boat was very comfortable! I would highly recommend booking SeaZen (we used Get Your Guide to book)! I'm so glad we decided to add this to our itinerary!

William was a fantastic captain and his knowledge about the area and coastline made the trip even better. If you're looking to get out on the water for a little while you're in Nice then SeaZen is definitely the way to go. Also, the boat is 100% solar powered so it doesn't create any pollution in the ocean.

I actually used them twice while in Monte Carlo. Be advised if you are staying in a hotel, as I was, that many cruise passengers also use this company. So on busy docking days the trips will be full. So warm and kind. Loved how he shared his passion for art, architecture and history. He was so patient as we created a custom day. Safety was a priority as our family was traveling with a couple of mobility impaired seniors. Walked the Red Carpet in Cannes. After a short walk along the beach and exploring the handprints of the stars, we were off to Nice. Along the way, Frederic told us about the royalty, artists and movie stars that lived and worked along this part of the French Riviera. Especially loved hearing about Princess Grace and the filming of "To Catch a Thief" with Gary Grant. My sister-in-law wanted to hit a local grocery store. Monoprix was perfect for her to stock up on sardines and pates. The macarons and chocolate croissants were bakery fresh. Next to the Chagall Museum in Nice. What an amazing collection of Chagall paintings, lithographs and stained glass. They even have a Steinway grand piano that was painted by Chagall. One of my favorite stops of the day. When in Nice, the Flower Market is a must. So lovely to be able to stroll through the historic flower market enjoying the wonderful colors, fragrant flowers and delicious treats. Since it was established in 1897, it has been an integral market for locals and tourists. Russian Czar, Nicholas II, loved this market so much that he would buy flowers and transport them by train for a market in St. Petersburg two days later. Today, the market is filled with stalls of venders with fragrant bouquets, soaps made from lavender from Provence and trees with hibiscus blossoms. Bring a bag to fill with fresh fruits and vegetables. The donut peaches were so sweet. Cookies and Turkish delight are sold by the kilo. Or order a cannoli filled with pistachio or nocciola (hazelnut) cream. Such a great place to pick up a sweet treat or a souvenir made locally. Next Frederic took us to Saint-Paul de Vence. Such a charming town. It is one of the oldest Medieval towns on the French Riviera. Loved learning about the many artists that drew inspiration in this serene village. Pablo Picasso worked here. Gene Wilder and Gilda Radner were married here. Marc Chagall lived here creating many beautiful pieces. He and his family are buried in the cemetery at the end of the path. Look for the grave covered in stones to the right. Today, Saint-Paul de Vence is filled with so many art galleries. From classic to contemporary to pop art, it is fun to pop in and out of the galleries. The day was perfect, and Frederic was the best guide! Merci beaucoup d'avoir partagé votre belle ville avec notre famille!

This spring, we arrived here from Paris and later departed from here for Florence. The historic Beaux-Arts exterior has been well maintained, and a pleasure to behold. Trains arrive and depart from the glass-domed train shed behind the station. Platforms are accessible by stairs and lifts. Be prepared to stand on a platform waiting for a train. Ticketing kiosks are located near the station entrances, and the queues are long in the morning. If you need to buy a ticket, allow 20-30 minutes -- kiosk instructions could be clearer. There's also a small but nice concession for take-away coffee and food. Taxis and ride shares stop out from of the station.

With this station, we made day trips to Cannes, Monaco and now Eze.

They put up with my poor French skills and allowed me to save face by conducting the entire service experience in English. They even gave me a couple hour grace period. For anyone who is doing this for the first time in Europe here are the details: They have all of the gear you need except for boots so I highly suggest you buy and bring your own. And if you are a long time motorcycle rider/enthusiast you should own your own gloves and boots; bringing them with you shouldn't be a large issue. I personally rented a helmet and jacket with both fitting better than expected. This isn't like renting ski or snowboarding equipment; it was all quality stuff from what I could tell; though not name brand which is fine for me. The bike itself was ready to go as promised in also new condition. Once you pick your bike online, they'll email you to get a copy of your license showing your motorcycle license/endorsement on your license. Note you have the option to drop the bike off in a different location which is great if you plan on going on a long trip across the country. I planned on riding into Monaco for the F1 race which I was told would cause more difficulties for them and honestly it worked out better for me as well as it was madness there. Will definitely be going again but I highly recommend that you book a bike a week before hand to insure they have one available for you; especially if it's a special weekend of some kind OR if you need it for longer than a day or two.

We arrived in the afternoon and apparently that day admission fees were waived due to a few temporary exhibit closures. Free admission! : ) Three rooms were blocked off.. I would have loved to see Chagall's timeline, but nevertheless, what we did see was amazing!!! The museum was not large and overwhelming. His work was beautifully displayed. A lot of interesting biblical pieces, glass stained pieces, and a few circus gypsy references. Plenty of comfy benches to sit and resonate. Drawings were displayed as well. A small souvenir bookshop was located next to the museum where I bought a few art postcards and a Chagall museum book. Talented artist and so worth the visit! Must see for sure

When I told my French cousin we were visiting this museum he looked aghast. Not a fan. Me, on the other hand, I find joy, inspiration and melancholy in Chagall's work. His stained glass inspires. His canvases touch on culture, religion and history, and also weave in colorful influences of a later life spent in the South of France. Tucked in an affluent hillside in Nice, the museum can be booked ahead or tickets purchased in person. They have many large-scale oil paintings, along with stained glass, mosaics, watercolors and pen and ink drawings. Recommended. The museum has an outdoor cafe, for those who want a quick pick me up after the museum, and to linger.
