We brought him because he needs to have his short frenulum corrected. Dr. Martinez Goda has been very patient and excellent with us. The first time I came by myself for an initial consult, and she gave so much information and was so helpful. The second time I came with my husband to do the procedure,but we got cold feet and it ended up being an initial consult for my husband (lol) and the doctor was so understanding of our fear as new parents. Now we are finally here to do the procedure to our baby and I was so nervous! We were in traffic due to the rain and they were very understanding and delayed our appointment 15min. So the frenectomy surgery was very simple and extremely quick! The doctor was so cautious and gently with our baby and she showed us the exercises we need to do post op for two weeks until the check up. I breastfed him right after the surgery in the room and just started crying of relief (we made the decision to do the surgery because of lactation issues) and the doctor comforted me. It has been a journey and I am so so so happy I was recommended to Dr. Martinez Goda!

My daughter was always OK with her regular visits. My son on the other hand, had various serious problems that Dra. Esquilin was very assertive to identify right on time. On one of the regular visits, just by looking at his sinus x-ray, she noticed some strange shadow, that ended up needing maxillofacial surgery. Due to my son's medications for his respiratory condition, he developed a fragile molar that she took care for years, making sure it could be saved. She always referred to it as her "baby-molar". Melba, great work, as of today your baby molar is save. Had to say that we followed her from office to office. My kids continued seeing her even after high school. My son last treatment with her was to address his wisdom teeth, for which she recommended surgery since, as she said: "I don't have the strength to pull them out". My son being a 6'2" young kid, already in College. Melba, you hold a very special place in our hearts. My daughter Laura is now a Veterinarian and José, your "giant" baby boy, is a Technology professional and also an Army Reserve Officer, both of them working overseas. Debimos haber entendido cuando tuvimos que corregir a la señora que internó a mi madre de 80+ años tras ser recibida por la Sala de Emergencias - por no prestar atención a su apellido, escribiendo otro nombre al que le fue dado y, cambiando la fecha de nacimiento. Low in hemoglobin (6), rushed in to get a transfusion and tests at 2PM, 29 MAY2018, still has not received it at 11 AM, 30 MAY 2018, because someone one on the floor, post-admissions - wrote down the wrong date of birth and as a result, the blood bank would not release the needed blood. Later, when the blood bank provided the nurses would administer it because of the same problem that was cleared with the Hospital (blood bank). Luego, tras aclarar con el banco que el error tipográfico fue después de la admisión y estos proveer para estabilizar a mi mamá, las enfermeras se negaron a administrar por la misma razón que aclaramos con el hospital (banco de sangre) In the current state the medical institution is in P.R., you would think that given the shortages in doctors, nurses, personnel, "CARE" would be the one thing that would bring an ailing person to THEIR hospital, and NOT the one across the street (Metro Area).
