Mold everywhere Out of date machines Unnecessary language barrier when wanting to drop off/pick up dry cleaning and selecting drinks from fridge behind cashier. Last time I was here I was on a commute to work I just walked behind the cashier desk because there was no one there and I wanted to get the correct drink from the fridge the first time without arguing or playing Simon says with the cashier. I placed the drink on the counter top and waited for her up by the register only for both her and a nearby costumer got mad at me because it's something I'm not supposed to do, even though again there was no sign/gate stating so preventing me to do so, and there was no bell nearby to inform the cashier I "needed" her to get a drink from me from the forbidden corner. I legitimately do not see why the owners don't invest in another vending machine for the drinks like they have for the snacks, or have the fridge up in front so something like this doesn't happen and a paying customer isn't ridiculed for wanting to speed up an unnecessarily lengthy process. Again, no one was at the register I went to get a drink I rest it on the counter intending to pay I get yelled at. Mind you also, they sell Arizona ICED Tea for 1.25 instead of the listed price of .99 I imagined that was to cover the square card fee for using a card and not cash but then I realized it's the same for cash as well and from some light research....that's illegal This is a very dehumanizing and disgusting place. If the workers aren't present for their jobs, Imagine what happens when you're not present for your clothes. So glad other alternatives around the neighborhood exist

Three weeks ago, I had brought in a pair of soiled opera gloves to be cleaned for eight dollars, which is quite high for a pair of gloves that could be replaced on-line for about the same price. When I went in to retrieve the gloves, they were neatly pressed and mounted on a wire hanger that read, "We Love Our Customers," yet they were still visibly dirty, a fact I pointed out to the clerk. She told me she would have the company attempt to clean them again. After yet another week, I returned to pick up the gloves, and again, they were still obviously soiled, mainly because they were left untouched. The same clerk explained that nothing could be done to remove the dirt, yet adamantly refused to refund the eight dollars I had paid weeks prior. Starlight, you "love" your customers? I think not. DO NOT trust this store with your dry cleaning. Places like Starlight deserve to go out of business. The sooner, the better!
